They probably ran a vin number based on the plate. The Ohio plates should have been the first clue to do more investigating before putting a name out there. Macomb County is 60-100 miles from the Ohio border. Most Michiganders have either Michigan or Florida plates. The Florida plates would be for snowbirds probably 60+.
The first thing the cop addresses is that “none of the injuries were caused by law enforcement” — wow. Sure good to know that “cover your ass” is the first thing on the minds of these people.

I’m guessing that means he’s not a White Supremacist, otherwise they’d be pointing that out non-stop.
However, the cop did say they were considering this to be homicide, so that kind of takes the “he was scared and it was an accident” theory off the table.
Also isn’t it odd they didn’t identify the man they have in custody? Why else would they do that except to stop the internet from hunting him up (and giving Twitter / Facebook / YouTube time to scrub anything they might possibly have from him)?
Any case where a person is killed can be called a “homocide” whether intentional or not.
Word on Twitter is the protesters were NOT right wing but Leftist actors consisting of George Soros funded ANTIA-FA and the Anti Defamation league pretending to be Nazis.
Anyone carrying a NAZI flag is actually a Hillary Clinton supporter and probably voter.
The purpose of the exercise is to bring in marshal law and ultimately ban conservative gatherings.

Homicide could be anything from first degree murder to involuntary manslaughter.
The cops always call such incidents “homicide”. There weren’t any suicides.
I am very aware of “von” vs. “van”; they simply mean “of” and really don’t count in the name.

Never been. I’m too paranoid and suspicious to follow anybody.
Nevertheless, I have yet to see any real evidence they are simply putting up a front, as is obviously possible. Off the cuff, I’d say they don’t like non white christian. But I never agreed w/the beliefs of the Ruby Ridge folks either, but thought the gov was in the wrong and not willing to jump on the “they’re racists” bandwagon to justify anything.
I’ve also been suspect of the media for many years.
I discovered long ago there’s a difference between what someone says and what someone else says they said. Even more misconstrued is what someone claims someone else meant.
I learned that one in the sandbox.
I learned to mistrust th media in HS, when I took journalism classes and worked on the HS newspaper. What our ballbuster of an instructor taught us was very different from what I read in the daily rags.
