Laurie Cardoza-Moore, president of the Tennessee-based Proclaiming Justice to the Nations is calling on all Jews, Christians and people of conscience to protest Roger Waters concert this Sunday at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
Once known for his role in the British rock band Pink Floyd, Waters has become a global ambassador of the movement to Boycott, Divest and Sanction (BDS) the State of Israel. The British musician has paraded on stage in a mock Nazi uniform and hoisted an inflatable pig emblazoned with a Star of David above his stage in concert. This in addition to spreading lies about Israel and comparing the Jewish State to Nazi Germany.

Roger Waters is a global symbol of Jew Hatred that should not be welcome in Nashville or anywhere else in the United States of America said Cardoza-Moore, adding, Roger Waters is the poster boy for BDS, its time to give him a taste of his own medicine and send a strong message that anti-Semites arent welcome in Tennessee.
Cardoza-Moore pointed out that the BDS movement has been hailed by Hamas, they both seek the total destruction of the Jewish State. Furthermore, BDS are responsible for an increase in anti-Semitism and violent attacks on Jewish students on campuses in America and around the world. Tennessee was the first state to pass legislation to publicly condemn the BDS movement. The BDS global brand ambassador should not be able to peddle his lies and conspiracies onstage within the city of Nashville.
In accordance with the US State Departments guidelines, the BDS movements activities are clearly anti-Semitic. They seek to delegitimize, demonize, and apply a double standard toward Israel, while remaining silent on real atrocities taking place worldwide, She said.
Thank you for the virtue signal.
Thank you for the drive-by ignorance.
“Thou sayests.”
How cute. Stick a label on it and you don’t have to understand what’s being said... It’s easier that way.
Picketing is censorship? You're suggesting that, for example, protesting a democrat politician is censorship? Boy, would the left embrace your position. In fact they do. Of course selectively. Picketing Waters, a protected expression of free speech in America, bad. Shutting down conservative speakers, including the current President of the United States, that's fine.
Derp. Yes, picketing, shouting down points of view that you don’t want others to hear... That’s censorship. Look it up.
I don’t fear allowing idiots to speak their “minds”.
Of course you don’t. Only Evangelicals whose opinions differ from Waters.
I’m sure you had a point, but I’m damned if I can figure out what it is.
Did I at some point try to shout down the Evangelicals who’s opinion differs from Waters?
Didn’t think so.
Ditto and ditto. Radiohead were under intense pressure from the anti-Israel bigots but ignored the hate and honored their commitment to perform in Israel.
Another reason they're my favorite band.
I’ve never heard Gilmour speak about it, but maybe I missed it. I would be surprised if he were on the same side as Waters on this issue. He seems to have better sense and much more class.
Waters isn’t the only member of PF whose brain is comfortably numb.

Gilmour certainly has more class than Waters (and he’s long been one of my favorite guitarists), but he’s very deluded on this issue.
Picketing itself isn’t “shouting down.”
In its simplest form it’s carrying signage. One can even be vocal without shouting anyone down, been there done that, there’s always gaps between speakers where picketers can add opposing remarks.
Don’t confuse leftist rioting, screaming, interrupting and wailing with conservative picketing, they just aren’t the same. The objective of the leftist is to drown out debate while the objective of a conservative is to encourage debate where there isn’t any.
Picketing necessarily involves interfering with someone else’s freedom to come and go as they please. People attending a concert aren’t violating any laws, or committing any moral infractions, why not let them alone and go after the source of your problems? Yell at Waters, not the people who just want to enjoy a show.
