HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Houston Public Library has scheduled a group of performers to headline story time this winter.
"Drag Queen Story Time" will happen December 30 at the Freed-Montrose Library meeting room.
The Houston Public Library website says "break out the dress-up chest and let your imagination run wild".
Local drag queens will be reading the stories.
The library goes on to say quote, "these vibrant queens will help to instill a sense of love and acceptance in our children while encouraging them to be true to themselves."

“these vibrant queens will help to instill a sense of love and acceptance in our children while encouraging them to be true to themselves.”
These library people would be shocked, just shocked, at suggestions that they have a group of ministers, or nuns, come in and so story time, and instill a sense of love and acceptance in our children.
Let’s be honest that this sort of thing would not have been allowed years ago. Years ago there’s no way the lunatic fringe as personified by “drag queens” would be given such open access to children in a public setting.

We used to have to go to the carnival sideshows and actually pay to see freaks.

You know what, as long as they advertise this is happening so people can make up their own minds whether or not to attend so what? You don’t have to go to see the art car parade either but thousands do and it has pretty much turned into a gay fest.

They don't love themselves or anyone else. They lie and lie a lot.
They don't accept themselves, which is why they're pretending to be someone else.
They're not true to themselves otherwise they wouldn't be pretending to be women.
Keep your children away from these mentally deranged individuals. There is only one reason homosexuals want to be around children.

They will fit right in with all the smelly homeless bums that spend their days in the library

America is a freak show.
I suppose that I can moan about the fact that libraries directly and indirectly get federal funding and thus should not promote this idiocy. I would be wasting my time.

My tax dollars pay for this bullsh|t.
A live and let live attitude is wholly inappropriate in this case.
My daughter is 6 and we use the Houston public libraries, which previously were merely places for homeless men to look at porn and masturbate.
