@YouTube @TeamYouTube stopped over 95% percent of our videos from being monetized, stating: Its Not Suitable For All Advertisers, the two said in a series of tweets. Wonder if @YouTube @TeamYouTube stopped the monetization of our videos because we are loyal supporters of the @POTUS. Hummmm. Sounds like Censorship to us, which is a Violation of our First Amendment. A Bias Method used to Silence our Conservative Voices. @YouTube, how was it OK to monetize our videos for the past two years and now those same videos are no longer eligible for monetization?
The popular duo has 89,000 subscribers on YouTube and another 361,000 on Twitter.
News of the largely demonetized channel comes less than two weeks since the company announced plans to fight inappropriate content.
Well soon be applying tougher treatment to videos that arent illegal but have been flagged by users as potential violations of our policies on hate speech and violent extremism, the company announced Aug. 1 on its official blog. If we find that these videos dont violate our policies but contain controversial religious or supremacist content, they will be placed in a limited state. The videos will remain on YouTube behind an interstitial, wont be recommended, wont be monetized, and wont have key features including comments, suggested videos, and likes.

Those two should have their own show, they’re so cute!
Adorable!
“This why Trump has a 30% approval rating”
Fiction
Yup, they are just soooo adorable!
Trump could engineer a youtube rival... perhaps get into contact with that Gab.ai guy about it...
If Trump moved his twitter feed to Gab.ai perhaps as many as 50 million users would follow him over..and if they also handled video like youtube does!?
Anyone who would deliberately target “Diamond and Silk” for punishment is just plain evil! :-(
The enemedia is demoralizing, not me. And I’m complaining on the web. Not in a foxhole. But don’t take me into battle anyway; I’m a total sissy!
You Tube is owned by Google which is rabidly Leftist. Why do people on the Right just bow down and use its products.
There are plenty of other search engines out on the web.
So what are the other video hosting services and why dont we use and promote them?
Patreon has started a similar clampdown, which could limit direct donations.
Why they’re nothing more than dirty racists. These youtube fascists should be shut down by the government, and their hate speech should land them in prison! Youtube has no right to freedom of “hate” speech.//sarc Really, this is such typical liberal drivel meant to shield the truth, that youtube is selecting the speech that they like, and filtering out conservatism. Trash.
The media was just as ugly under Reagan but they were nowhere as large as they are now.
I uploaded something that had royalty free music and got flagged immediately. I’ll see about using a different track at some point. It’s low priority.
Over the weekend I finally used the Go Pro Black I bought for the first time in a while. I changed the oil on my Willys Jeep and rolled on it.
For the fun of it, I sent a couple to Go Pro and apparently one is liked a great deal. There is a rewards program.
I’ve made very little from youtube but I’m not a hardcore producer.
There is always stock footage and photos. Those have done better anyway.
Could it possibly be a concerted effort by a relatively small group of operatives under the guidance of, hmm, Valerie Jared or Killary?
Just as lawfare imposes enormous costs on the attacked so do these y/t hate tags.
Screaming progs shut down dissenting voices on campuses, on all the social media.
No coincidence that the thumbs up or thumbs down can have the same effect as it did in the Roman coliseums, bloody minded mob rule.
Besides being so cute, they are spectacular...worlds better and funnier than SNL... so why on earth don’t Conservatives promote a TV venue for these two?
I mean...it’s ‘equal time’ and would be terrific!
When will advertisers push back with “why are you cutting our revenue streams?”
I have been saying since 1992 (when the media deliberately threw the election to Bill Clinton) that the greatest threat currently facing this nation is liberal control of the broadcasting systems.
Because there is no viable alternative. I know of no other competition to YouTube. If I did, I would certainly use it.
Youtube needs to be declared a utility and regulated by an oversight agency.
There are plenty of other search engines out on the web.
I never use Google unless I can't get any results from other search engines. I hate Google, but often their search engine works better than anyone else.
So what are the other video hosting services and why dont we use and promote them?
I would also like to know this. We very badly need competition with Google so we can stop this fascist monster from becoming more powerful. I think the problem is that it would probably take a half a billion dollars to set up something that could effectively compete with YouTube.
I firmly believe that any private company that creates a “free and public social space” must treat all those using it equally, the same rules as for physical public spaces. If they don’t like it they must charge a fee and make it a paid service.
There’s just too great a threat of censorship to our society, these mediums are too pervasive and controllable. They’re not like other private businesses. If you want to create a massive social space that is free to the public then it becomes a public space with all the free speech rights that go with it.
The cure would be worse than the disease.
Because Google's censorship and abuse of dissenting ideas would be far worse if it were regulated by some sort of governing oversight.
I agree. I've long argued with people who's position is "It's their website, and so they can exclude whomever they like."
To which I respond "Like Lunch counters refusing to serve black customers?"
