I suspect that Manafort has some exposure. He’s not the brightest bulb, and he seems to have gotten himself in over his head. The only question is whether he is the kind who would make stuff up to get himself out of the problem.
But you are right. They are going to threaten him. That’s the way this is done.

    ‘Hes not the brightest bulb’
Is this a personal opinion, or do you have a source?

The irony is that Manafort's role in the Trump campaign was very focused and limited. His primary role was to deal with issues related to the primary process and the aggregation of party delegates in the months leading up to the convention. There was a real fear at the time that the Republican establishment would try to steal the nomination from Trump through a brokered convention where he didn't have a clear majority of the delegates, and this was exactly the scenario Manafort had dealt with on behalf of President Ford all the way back in 1976.
Manafort stepped down after the convention, and I'm not even sure what he's been doing since then.

That kind of thing is always a personal opinion. Either mine or someone elses.

I’ve seen a lot of comments and opinions re Manafort. Apart from you, I’ve never seen his intelligence questioned.

Sounds like the typical, unconstitutional “CONSPIRACY” charge will be coming Manafort’s way, along with lying to an FBI jackboot, for misstating the number of button-down shirts in his closet. They got Scooter Libby on this utter nonsense. Bush should have given Libby a full pardon.

Good chance failing to report foreign bank account is one issue.
If that is all he ever did...that is minor. I doubt that is all he ever did given everything surrounding him. It is leverage.
I will be interested in who is behind the mortgages on that dustin hoffman victim deal

    MUELLER ELECTION FRAUD
Imprison this corrupt bastard Mueller.
Mueller is coordinating Election Fraud. Manafort was important in securing the 2016 election. He is now attacked.
Mueller is rigging the 2020 election.
Trump should fire Mueller now. Begin criminal prosecution for election fraud.
