First they said he would never run for president. Then they said he would never be the Republican nominee for president. Then they said he could never be elected president. The latest false narrative being pushed by the liberal media is that some Republicans are making moves to run against President Trump in 2020.
These fake news stories are in the interests of the liberal agenda because they raise manufactured questions about the president’s standing with Republican primary voters and are meant to cause division among conservatives. Try as they might, the American people are too smart for the elitist gamesmanship going on in the boardrooms at the New York Times and Washington Post.
Here’s the unfortunate reality for liberal Democrats and other so-called “Never Trumpers:” President Trump is in great shape with grassroots conservatives (regardless of party affiliation) across the country and with good reason. He’s making good on his promises.....

The problem with any GOP contenders thinking they will challenge Trump in 2020 is that, barring something disastrous, he will run and will not lose his base support.
Thus, any GOP contender who might somehow win the nomination would likely lose most of the support that would have gone to Trump [again]. A GOP contender would be handing the election to the Democrat, assuming they don’t nominate a nutcase.
Agree 100%. The more garbage the lying crapweasles throw at him the more we will stand up for him.

Not really, though that may be part of it. Mainly they want to trigger “lame duck status” before he’s even finished his first 7 months in office.
The media realize everything that President Trump is going to accomplish for the American people and they’re already desperate to try to stop it. He is their worst nightmare.
DJT has shown voters that beneath the pile of crap politicians heap on we ‘lesser’ folks, there are some who run for office and make promises who ACTUALLY keep them. For this, he gets my vote(s); that he is succeeding in obliterating the black stain of BO’B, he gets any following votes as a bonus.
I think the GOPe plan is exactly that - nominate some establishment candidate that will most likely lose to the Democrat because most conservatives will feel alienated. And even if the establishment Republican wins, he will do what the Uniparty wants pretty much like the Democrat would have done, so all the crony capitalists and oligarchs will be rewarded either way.
The media are like the old movie serials...every story designed to have you “tune in” tomorrow for the rest of the story.
The build up usually falls flat on it’s keyster in the follow-ups...hovering until the “next big story” pops up.
