"Jack Burkman, the Republican operative who is urging Mueller to use his newly impaneled grand jury to investigate the Rich murder."

Yeah...like that's going to happen as soon as those monkeys fly out of Hillery's butt...

You try to rob somebody.

He resists.

You shoot him.

People hear the shots.

Lights go on and dogs bark.

Frightened, you run away, leaving empty handed.

I'm not saying that's definitely what happened, but it's certainly a plausible scenario.

Yes. It could have been a robbery scenario similar to the one you described. It could also be an argument with a stranger in the bar that got out of hand. It could have been a love triangle gone wrong. It could also have been, as I heard someone say tongue in cheek a couple weeks ago, a botched rape. In other words, it could have been anything, and there was no particular evidence to favor the ‘botched robbery’ conclusion over any others. So why were the police so quick to make that determination?

In coming to that conclusion so early, they eliminated all the other scenarios, didn’t bother to interview those at the bar who had been with Rich in his final hours, and didn’t bother speaking to friends or co-workers to try and ascertain if he had any enemies on those fronts. All in all, it was a shoddy investigation, and you have to ask yourself why they were so quick to dismiss all other explanations.

As an aside, I should point out that Julian Assange has insisted all along that he received his information from a leaker, not a hacker, and all but admitted Rich was the leaker. Any objective look at this has to make you suspicious.
