Nat gas can keep you warm, but it doesn’t plant food or ship it to your grocery store shelves.
Only oil does that.

Um, trucks and tractors can and do run on NG. It is just cheaper right now to use diesel, but there is no reason why fleets can’t run on NG.
There are delivery trucks in Colorado that run on NG.
But it is a feedstock for the plastics industry.
An increasing number of trucks are on the road, running on natural gas.
