Two of the senators who singlehandedly derailed the skinny repeal of Obamacare were awarded a sit down interview with the admiring Dana Bash Friday on CNN. The bright faced journalist applauded Sens. Susan Collins (ME) and Lisa Murkowski (AK) for having the cajones to vote against the Republican bill when they knew half the country would view them as heretics.
Collins admitted it was an uncomfortable vote. But, they both insisted it was the right thing to do, which is why they did not fear backlash from GOP leadership, or even intimidating tweets from the Oval Office.
Both women said they were voting for their constituents, not the Republican Party...
Part of standing up for their states, the senators argued, was protecting Planned Parenthood funding...

They want to keep their pleasure centers free of any unwanted baby punishments.
Baby killers!
Didn’t see her vote since they had the numbers without her. Probably why she decided to vote yes and keep he scam going
And they are at it again:
“McConnell is responding in kind. His super PAC is set to spend as much as $8 million to boost his favored candidate, recently appointed Republican Sen. Luther Strange.
McConnell has activated his sprawling donor network and pressed the White House for more resources. And the National Republican Senatorial Committee, the Senate GOP campaign arm McConnell controls, has warned consultants theyll be cut off from future work if they assist Stranges opponents.”

Has she ever been the reason why a bill was passed? A lot of 50-50 votes were because of the two chicks
So Planned Parenthood is a branch of the federal government now?
The worst thing to ever happen was to give women the vote.
Nothing but horror ever since.
From the IRS to FDR to the Clintons.
I am neither a Collins expert nor a defender. The question was, has she EVER voted on our side. On Gorsuch she did. That’s the extent of my involvement in the matter.
And McCain.
Because only that private company is entitled to federal money.
Not sure why Republicans like Collins and Cow Ski are better than a Democrat, but I have to be thankful their pizz poor representation still helps keep “R’s” in the senate majority.
They knew they could vote against the American people without repercussions from the GOP, because they know McConnell is a gutless tool of the Uni-party. McConnell is too busy sending millions to a GOP-e dupe in the Alabama Senate primary to take action about those responsible for breaking the biggest promise made by the GOP in 10 years.
She was the last time and lost, but ran as a independent write at the general and won...
I live in Maine and I despise Collins....with a passion!
In 2014 I wrote in someone else’s name rather than vote for this witch.
The RIGHT thing to do would be to get these two out of politics completely.
I believe it was Olympia Snowe, the other Maine Senator (now an ex-Senator) who brought Obamacare out of committee.
Depends on the "us". Republicans Are Loyal to the Establishment, Not You
“Part of standing up for their states, the senators argued, was protecting Planned Parenthood funding...”
Enabling baby killers must get these two airheads into all the right parties in the Dist. of Corruption.
