Two of the senators who singlehandedly derailed the skinny repeal of Obamacare were awarded a sit down interview with the admiring Dana Bash Friday on CNN. The bright faced journalist applauded Sens. Susan Collins (ME) and Lisa Murkowski (AK) for having the cajones to vote against the Republican bill when they knew half the country would view them as heretics.
Collins admitted it was an uncomfortable vote. But, they both insisted it was the right thing to do, which is why they did not fear backlash from GOP leadership, or even intimidating tweets from the Oval Office.
Both women said they were voting for their constituents, not the Republican Party...
Part of standing up for their states, the senators argued, was protecting Planned Parenthood funding...

How many people killed is enough?
50 million so far... and counting....
I’m sure they can explain the dead babies to God.
Or they think so.
‘WASHINGTON U.S. Sen. Susan Collins on Thursday joined her Republican colleagues in the Senate to trigger the so-called nuclear option to secure the confirmation of Judge Neil Gorsuch to the U.S. Supreme Court.’
So they supported baby-killing, illegal baby-parts peddling, and hurt American families with Obamacare, all with just one vote.
What kind of twisted thinking is that!!!
If even a non-believer can’t see the immoral, brutal evil that “planned” parenthood does, they are devoid of humanity.
Tie them up in knots following the regulations..
.what chemicals are they purchasing...?
Inspect the facilities....do they have the requisite permits...?
What machinery do they run.....is it iinstalled to code...?
Waste disposal...permits ....storage...labels and contractors.
Collins and Murkowski are less than totally and completely useless: they are useful idiot propagandists for the left. If they can’t repeal Obamacare’s mandate over freaking planned parenthood funding, they can call themselves anything they want but they’re not Republicans.
The NRSC shouldn’t spend a dime on either of their reelections. Murkowski lost her primary and won on a write-in, so she already feels no obligation to the party. If they can sell us out over something as big as Obamacare, lotsa luck finding dollars and votes next time they’re up.
“If Collins lost her seat it would likely be filled by a Democrat, but Murkowski is a different matter. She should be primaried.”
Murkowski was primaried! Then The GOPe leadership supported her as a write-in candidate against the rightful Tea Party leaning nominee. All the GOPe gotta go!!!

And remember her sole GOP vote brought zippyCare out of committee in order to be voted on. She’s as big a traitor as mcStain!
Gorsuch is literally the only thing she helped with her entire time in the Senate. She knew that killing his nomination would literally be there end of her political career.
Bet you dollars to donuts if Ginsburg dies she will oppose her replacement if the nominee is pro-life. She only voted for Gorsuch because he didn’t tip the balance of the court.
We were protesting a clinic in the early 1990s and we found out that they were violating some fire codes. (We had some people sneaking into the clinic for a look-see.) We reported it to the city fire code people and guess what? The city fire code people came out, went in and found out it was an abortion clinic and they turned tail and walked out, and never did write them up for violating a couple of fire codes.
Maybe things have changed since then, but they have supporters who like to make things as easy as possible for the abortion crowd.
Can a recall election be held in Alaska?
You’re probably 100% right. But the question was, has Collins EVER voted our way. That one time she did.
Petitions for recall elections may help.
At this point each state needs to vote in their legislative assemblies to call for a Convention of States. Three amendments should be at the forefront.
The first should be to repeal the 17th amendment.
The second should be for term limits.
The third should be to require that in Presidential elections each elector be required to cast their electoral vote for the Presidential Candidate who received the majority of votes in their Congressional District, not in a winner take all statewide count.
Can’t think of another couple of meat sacks to better apply this to...Seems an appropriate time for a reminder...
Can’t
Understand
Normal
Thinking
A recall election for a federal office-holder can’t be held anywhere.
And your point being...???
Isn't that about the same as saying if McCain was replaced by a Dem?
The letter changes, not the vote.
Ah....but those Innocent Dead Babies can block them from getting into HEAVEN!!!
WHY are UGLY women so HELL bent on KILLING CUTE BABIES???
