EL CERRITO, Calif. (AP) — In some ways, California’s Rainbow Day Camp is very conventional, with kids making friendship bracelets, playing basketball and singing songs. But in other ways, it’s extraordinary unique.
The day camp in El Cerrito, in the San Francisco Bay Area, caters to transgender and “gender fluid’ children, ages 4 to 12. Experts say it’s one of the only camps of its kind in the world open to preschoolers.
Rainbow officials say the camp gives kids a safe, fun place to be themselves. The camp’s enrollment has tripled since it opened in 2015, and plans are underway to open a branch next summer in Colorado.
Gender experts say Rainbow’s rapid growth reflects what they’re seeing in gender clinics around the country: an increasing number of kids coming out as transgender at young ages.

Incredible evil is upon us.
I am 63 and over the decades I have noticed that children of thieves, alcoholics, the mentally ill, and a host of other maladies most often come to play the same role as their parents. Only in a few cases have they appeared to escape the trap. In my estimation the escapees are unusually intelligent and introspective.
For the most part, children who end up in the camp are already cursed with terrible parents and would have little chance of ever being “normal.”

Any connection between these revelations and declarations, and the way society and the media push all the “LGBT” stuff??
Somewhere along the way, it became cool to be gay. Not just to tolerate such people, but to celebrate same. We are seeing the same thing play out with “transgender” peoples; now somehow it is cool to be trans.
Some of the stories you hear are so disheartening. Like we hear how a three year old girl declares “I’m a boy”, and the liberal parents scurry to rearrange their families around their daughter thinking he’s a boy. And also run to the media to publicize their daughter as so special and courageous to “come out” as the other sex.
Then we see lawsuits over transsexual kids bathroom access in schools, and I wonder if I would be in legal trouble today, based on how I would have handled a gender dysphoric child, if I had one.
And we see how Canada is handling things. Coming to America soon I’m sure.
Or, depending on how much damage this foolishness is allowed to do, weep.
These things are done in purposeful defiance of God. Everything about it is a dark ritual that Crowley would be proud of.

We are, from the human perspective, living in utopia. Never have so many people been free from disease, torture, war, famine and the ills of old age. We can feed ourselves with comparatively few hours of labor and we have fabulous, dry accommodations for nearly everybody. For the first time in human history an enormous percentage of the “poor” are obese. In short, life is so easy, comparatively, that people have become bored. Believe me, if any of the above were not true none of the transgender stuff or the homosexual agenda would be in the news.
When will it end? When our society and our bodies are so threatened by bad times that we can think of nothing beyond our own survival.
Or, when the sane end the rule of political correctness and begin teaching the way it was done in the forties and fifties before the Leftists took control and turned our schools into indoctrination centers from Hell.

Strangely, since I just wrote a post on another thread railing against this whole transgender agenda, I do not have a problem at all with this camp.
These children are real. They are little kids and they have a disability, and like many kids with a disability that makes them different, they can feel very alone. A camp where they can have fun and not worry about their differences is GOOD FOR ALL CHILDREN.
Kids with gender dysphoria are real. They are sweet, innocent children. They were created in a uterus filled with bisphenol A or other substances that disrupt endocrine development (most young women’s uteri are, these days, from a couple generations of exposure). They can’t help their disability any more than other children with autism or Down syndrome or blindness can.
It’s perfectly ok to have special camps for kids with differences. I’m all for it.
I’m just not all for teaching these children they were “meant” to be the opposite gender. They should be taught, they are their born gender, but with a disability. They are still perfect and created by Him, just there is one thing that isn’t like other kids, they feel like the gender they aren’t. And that is ok. All children should be able to feel proud of themselves just as they are made.
The connection between MORE AND MORE kids born this way is the state of our environment. We are destroying our reproductive safety.

Yes, do provide a camp where you can let childhood fantasies and obsessions nurture into lifelong obsessions that require them to mutilate their bodies to satisfy their obsessions. /sarc

You have a good point.
But my fear is that this is exactly what they are doing, teaching these kids that they are meant to the be opposite sex. Gender dysphoria is a real condition, but based on what seems to be happening in our culture, it isn’t being treated, it’s being celebrated.
