Not every question needs to be answered, particularly when it’s a spun up question designed to create controversy. Ignoring it is certainly not evasive.
Don’t mistake the conservative methods over the progressive methods. The message from today’s conservative has always been more honest and more inclusive than the progressives. Fabricate, denigrate, castigate. Marginalize, daemonize, criminalize. Add constant projection of fascism upon the right and throw in a bunch of people who want to protect free speech by constantly attacking it.
I think you need to review what’s going on and reevaluate and recalibrate on who exactly is being evasive and unresponsive to criminal investigations ....

If you’re getting dirt on your political opponent, if you’re getting the silver bullet and the secret sauce on how to win the election, you don’t ask your aide to pull you out of the meeting. You say please order lunch. Let’s just stay.
There’s nothing. There’s nonsense. It was a ridiculous meeting. It was nothing. People want to — people want to offer their services and have meetings all of the time, believe me. I know you know this. But let’s look at the consequence — no follow-up. No results.
