The GOPe agenda is the Democrat agenda.

Pretty much. We still have Obamacare, abortion on demand, Planned Parenthood, NPR, PBS, illegals coming in by the millions, high taxes, and judicial system that let's crooks get away with anything.

So yes, the GOP is EXACTLY like the RATS.

Democrats have fewer real political principles that that of the party winning. There are more individuals in the GOP and more herd followers among the Democrats. That is why the Democrats could pass the mammoth Obamacare bill without actually reading it and more GOP members struggle over a bill because they have read it.

What should the GOP do. Compromise in the GOP with each other & maybe they will get more done and not have to compromise as much with the Dims. They all, in the GOP, should remember that each bill is just a battle, and their will be other bills within which they can work to get their point in place, and work to get other GOPers to compromise with them.

Thinking every piece of legislation must be perfect (and yes I am talking to GOP “moderates” who never want to compromise with their Conservative friends and make themselves ALWAYS a controlling minority in the GOP). My entire point and lecture here is to Collins, Murkowski, McCain et al. They refuse to lose within the GOP and when they do they cause the whole GOP to lose to the Dims. They are the cause of giving their party a bad rep on getting something done.

The GOP is the lobbyist party.

[McConnell has to be one of the least capable people to rise to such a high position in American history. For the life of me, I cannot understand why there has not been more of an outcry over his total incompetence and lack of vision.]

Um, Trent Lott and the idiotic “power sharing” BS?

Trent Lott, Bill Frist and Mitch McConnell(Senate)

Hastert,Boehner,Ryan(House)

For the last 20 years, the Dems kneel and praise Satan daily for such “opposition”.

Pretty much what I say also.

The spirit that runs the Left - the spirit that defines and runs political correctness, government tyranny, the women’s movement, the gay agenda, the dysfunctional part of black culture, Islamic jihad and world supremacy - are actually the spirit of antichrist.

There is currently a push-back from the Holy Spirit because their time is not yet. God still has plans for America as a light to the world in a last-days’ in-gathering of souls. But once that is over and Jesus returns for his saints, all hell will break loose and these deluded Leftists who haven’t turned to Jesus in time will get what they’ve sought and much more than they’ve bargained for.

I think much of the reason for the Republican inaction is that they are bullied from the second they are elected. It doesn’t matter how rational their agenda is, or that their constituents elected them for a specific purpose. They arrive in DC, and are immediately the target of an abusive press and Democrat politicians who treat them as pariahs who are on the outside of civilization.

Many of them develop Stockholm syndrome. Others become uncertain and lose their confidence. While the constituents back home want them to move forward, the abusive liberals all around them are telling them they are mentally unstable for even thinking about such agendas.

The fact that we keep electing them in greater numbers to pursue a specific agenda—one that has no room for socialism—is not a strong enough psychological defense for them to retain their confidence in what they were elected to do.

I think it is time to limit the time our representatives spend in DC. They can use video conferences to hold legislative sessions, and remain in their home districts, where they are insulated from attacks of the liberal politician and media bullies.

Democrats are more focused and more fighters than the Republicans. Republicans are the do nothing and for nothing party. Only thing keeping them the majority in the Senate and House is riding on the coat tails of President Trump. And then many of them have turned against Trump. Republicans are holding back on over 200 bills that will never see the Presidents desk.

You are 100% correct.
Hell is full of liberal idiots from every age that have had “good intentions” built upon lies and theft.

They don’t believe in consequences or God. The end for them will be quite a sight.

Ryan needs to be primaried, and failing that, voted out in the general. Flipping his district to a “D” would actually advance the conservative agenda.

“I... time to limit the time our representatives spend in DC. ... use video conferences to hold legislative sessions, and remain in their home districts, where they are insulated from attacks of the liberal politician and media bullies.”

Absolutely agree!

In addition, they would be away from the vast number of lobbyists.

Also, for reform there should be NO out of state funds for Senators or Representatives which make the voters less important than the money interests. Corporations cannot vote and should not give money and PACS should be eliminated. In addition, elected officials should not have their own foundations in which a contribution would gain their favor.

Think of all the $ it would save. No special Barber Shop for just them, no special cafeteria/food for them, no special anything. I like this idea. How do we convince them to vote themselves out of D.C.?

I have observed that Democrats can always vote for their candidate, secure in the knowledge that they’re getting a good, lock-step leftist. Republicans are a bowl of mixed nuts.

The Democrats’ agenda is what they SAY it is: kill babies, steal lots of money from productive people, give a little money to unproductive people (keeping lots of money for themselves), allow Muslim and Mexican invaders in by the millions.

Republicans (other than Trump and a small minority) LIE about their agenda. Once in office, they do what they always intended: kill babies, steal lots of money from productive people, give a little money to unproductive people (keeping lots of money for themselves), allow Muslim and Mexican invaders in by the millions.

I think you are right about that. The question is why have more Republican voters and activists not caught on. McConnell is basically a fall guy whose job is to tell the base “I don’t know why we lost again, we’ll do better next time, I swear.”
