I watched it, and the protesters were rude, obnoxious, and disrespectful. They barged in with foul language, would not listen to the spokeswoman, and instead ridiculed her with fake laughter to drown her out.
I listened, and there was no foul language in the office directed at staff. If there was, I missed it, and I was listening for it.
Yes, they were upset—door locked, uncooperative staff that they pay for, and being rude and upset was not a crime last time I looked...However, I saw most of the CONSTITUENTS JUST SITTING and only a couple talking to spokeswoman—until she made an outrageous remark. Frankly, had I been there, I would have acted the same way.
She showed no empathy and obviously no cooperation as she went in to call the cops after ONE MINUTE...It is HER JOB TO ADDRESS CONCERNS OF CONSTITUENTS...Frankly, she is lousy at her job! Her job is not to call the cops because she did not like the people she serves. Her job is to address concerns. They were not threatening her or threatening to her and there were other staffers there to “protect” her...
The cops were there after she spoke to them for ONE MINUTE...ONE MINUTE?!?! Then she said she was done and calling the cops. And how many cops were there? At least a couple dozen~they continued to arrive after the constituents had left. And at least one Helicopter??? Surprised they did not call out the National Guard and bomb squad.
..The CONSTITUENTS DID NOT DESERVE TO BE TREATED LIKE TERRORISTS.
Sorry I cannot condone what I saw happen to people who had legitimate concerns and every right to be there —no matter how rude you feel they were.

I can assure you my Conservative US Rep has no time for me—he does telephone town halls every so often, and meets with business people—aka donors. His phone staff take messages, and I never ever hear fro him...

In fact, even though millions in CA supported Trump, it's so bad in CA, most everyone kept it to themselves during the election out of fear of being attacked or having your property vandalized.
There were no signs, bumper stickers or any of that during the election in CA.
In fact in CA during the election, it was like being in Nazi Germany for most of Trumps female and elderly Trump supporters. Trump supporters in CA had to keep their mouths shut and not say a word. No joke...
Millions have seen the videos of what happened to others who voiced their supporter. Just look at the anti-Trump NAZI style violence that occurred in Costa Mesa, Berkeley, San Jose, Huntington Beach etc did the same.
