Thousands of infrastructure jobs are being held up by unfilled energy Dept rubber stamp committee. GOP Senate bugged out without confirming appointments to it as a middle finger to a POTUS of their own party. How sick is that?

Your socialist obama destroyed the middle class and America . Now Trump is trying to rebuild it.

that is indeed an impact, but those people are still people without jobs. So apparently the economy everyone is crowing about isn't absorbing those newly added people.

These same numbers were used to destroy the perception of whatever gains were made, tepid as they were, the past several years.

I’m not debating that. Trump’s initiatives may indeed be just what the doctor ordered. I was just using the same numbers and references that were used to show how bad or tepid the improvements were the past few years.

All he said is it’s a bit premature to celebrate.

The economy cratered in 09 and it’ll take more than a quarter or two for Trump to fix things.

It’s a start though...

“When the tax cuts get passed “

Won’t happen. The eGOP are not for tax cuts. Never have been. There is always an excuse why the eGOP, who controls Congress, cannot seem to ever get what we want done. The fact remains, as McInsane proved this week, that the eGOP is NOT for the same things we want.

“Workforce labor participation rate remains the same as January and only .1 above July of last year. And number of people not in the workforce has risen from 94,366,000 in January to 94,657,000 in July. A little premature to be dancing in the streets”

Yep, and Trump needs to work on disability fraud. Time to put non retirement age deadbeats back to work and the Doctors in on it in jail. How many tens of millions went on disability under Odunga?

The whole system needs to be overhauled. I have a buddy, six figure income with wife's wages whom have a 23 year old whom has never worked a day of his life, including taking the fricking trash out or mow the lawn. He is on permanent tax payer paid disability with minimal medical $$ requirements. Maybe when their income craters when they hit SS / retirement disability kicks in, but now? Maybe disability needs to be means tested.

Easy. The rich got richer. As they have been since 09.

You sound sour, but I hate to burst your bubble. Anyone with money in, or dependent upon the markets has done well. It's not "just the rich."

Your last sentence makes no sense...the "wage earner" is someone with a job; presumably, they're saving and investing some of that money. If so, they're benefiting from a great economy.

Wage earners don't suffer from "no jobs" however. If they have no job, they're not earning wages.

How long did it take Reagan to create 4 Trillion dollars into the economy?

Let's be fair...4 trillion as a percentage of the GDP was much greater when Reagan was in office.

Not sour at all. I’m one of the rich who got richer. And have been since April of 09. Far too many wage earnets don’t save in the market and of the few who do they aren’t in equities.

Whose fault is that?
