A memo drafted almost 12 years after the assassination of John F. Kennedy reveals that a number of top intelligence workers believed that there may have been Castro-Cuban involvement in the fatal shooting of the president.
That argument is based largely on the six-day trip that Lee Harvey Oswald took to Mexico just two months before the assassination, which is detailed for the first time in the 26-page memo.
The assassination may have been carried out in retaliation to the attempts the CIA had made on Castro's life argues the memo, with Oswald possibly deciding it was crucial to murder Kennedy in order to save Castro.

On follow up, yes, USGOV did get Jack Ruby to kill Oswald. They did it in order to avoid the inevitable war, which would become nuclear, if my parents generation knew Castro was behind the assassination of JFK.

Not suggesting any theory, but how would Bush know to be in Dallas to have Oswald killed by Ruby before Kennedy was even assassinated? Bush was there the day of the assassination before Oswald was arrested.
My guess was always people who wanted LBJ as President, probably Texans. Especially suspicious that upon John Connally’s death, the removal of a bullet fragment was not allowed to be taken from his body for forensic analysis. I was looking up his name’s spelling and found this fascinating tidbit regarding missing evidence and possibility that Connally was the real target.

Regarding support for LBJ presidency, Kennedy was less enamored about the idea of escalating in Vietnam than LBJ. Meanwhile big business interests (in Texas?) were seeking a $billion contract to build Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam. Follow the money!! So I just Googled this idea and low and behold, what big, big company name should pop up but Halliburton. Amazing. Well worth more research.

Having now read a lot of details, I think it is very possible that Oswald may have been used in one way or another by business plotters, but may have had his own agenda which ended up doing what the business interests wanted. Of course, Oswald had to be killed, and then the killer Ruby.
Not knowing anything, but there is a video on Youtube where Bush Sr. has the giggles when reminiscing about JFK’s assassination, while speaking at a funeral.

It would have been a lot easier for a conspiracy to whisk Oswald to a “safe house” - where he could be killed in private, and dispose of him via cremation, the way the mob did Jimmy Hoffa.
Jack Ruby was both an unlikely and unreliable hit man, and a police station an unlikely venue. Not buying it.
This was CIA disinfo to cover the fact that Lee Harvey Oswald was their agent taught Russian by them in Japan, sent to Russia to feed the specs of the U2 to the Soviets (to disrupt Eisenhower’s peace talks with the Russians) and then brought back to the states for “other duties as assigned”.
The pictures of Oswald in Mexico City look nothing like Lee Harvey Oswald—never happened.

And why would columnist and “What’s My Line” star, Dorothy Kilgallen, have been murdered after interviewing Jack Ruby and stating that she was going to tell all on the Kennedy assassination?
Oswald killed Kennedy, and he acted alone.
That’s the fascinating thing about the JFK assassination. The list of people with motives is virtually endless. The Cubans, the Russians, the Mafia, jealous boyfriends and husbands, an ambitions LBJ, etc. etc. etc. etc.
The timeline is rather tight.
How do you preplace an asset in Dallas to do the hit who works at the school book depository, when you don’t know the route of the motorcade that far in advance?
