McMaster reshuffles National Security Council (What is this purge of the good guys being allowed?!)
Axios ^ | August 2, 2017 | Shane Savitsky

Posted on 08/02/2017 8:45:44 PM PDT by BurgessKoch

Since replacing Michael Flynn as National Security Adviser, H.R. McMaster has worked to wrest control of the National Security Council away from the nationalist wing of the administration, carrying out a series of high-profile staffing changes in the process.

The latest move: Ezra Cohen-Watnick, the senior director for intelligence at the NSC, was shown the door today by McMaster, who, according to a White House official, decided that "a different set of experiences is best-suited to carrying that work forward." The White House said that Cohen-Watnick will remain in another national security position in the administration.

Think back: Cohen-Watnick first gained notoriety in March as one of Devin Nunes' purported sources for the alleged unmasking of Trump team associates during incidental intelligence collection by the Obama administration. McMaster reportedly tried to force him out of his position after the CIA deemed him as "a threat," but that move was shot down by Bannon and Jared Kushner after they appealed directly to President Trump.

Gen. Mc/M is planning for WWIII—> starting in NK. imo

You think China is going to allow this without getting involved? America First foreign policy is kaput.

The globalists are now leading Trump around by the nose.

General MacMaster is no Gen. Macarthur.

Our military leaders have done little to nothing these last few decades to defend us from domestic enemies.

It’s going to get ugly...

Why is Trump allowing this purge happen?

Better question is why do all the concern trolls immediately jump in neck deep for everything put out there specifically to try to tamp down support for Trump?

And why are so many of them either so shy (for those who donate anonymously) or just plain FReeloading leeches who never hit the

I thought they were trying to get rid of the leakers?

Tillerson stinks too, Pence is useless as VEEP, Sessions is the wrong man for the position he has, and on and on and on.

Tillerson is an engineer, not a politician and a conservative. He gives us extremely pragmatic America-first policies. Pence is a conservative politician, the best we could hope for in that slot. Pence can work with the conservatives in Congress. Sessions does things quietly. Hopefully he is doing things about domestic law enforcement which is somewhat separate although related to deep state which is mostly foreign. Sessions is admittedly a question mark for effectiveness at this point.

We have many challenges in getting back to America first. I think foreign policy is going that way as best as possible. Domestically our biggest challenge is creeping socialism like socialized medicine. We are up against the Democrats and the corrupt media. But things will happen because D senators from Trump states are not going to listen Schumer forever and things are ok for us in the House.

Turns out they are to a man globalists, Islamists, traitors, deep staters

In your opinion. But in reality Tillerson is an America-first, pragmatic engineer. There are probably others like him as well. And there are no Brennan Muslims or Clapper liars as far as I can see. We may not solve all our problems but we are better off.

To some extent there are idealists here who want perp walks, roll back of socialism, purges in the deep state etc. Very hard to figure out how those happen without a banana republic, which is the exact reason I voted for Trump. The good cannot overcome evil by becoming evil and Trump follows the law above all.

Dammit, what is wrong with a little nationalism? Has the urge to self destruct infected the entire government? Even Trump has his moments, but deplorable me still supports him, and plan on gladly voting for him again.

McMaster was invited to attend and spoke at the last Bilderberger meeting.
That’s all you need to know.

Banana republic? Nah. More along the lines of our FF’s actions.

The system is currently so infested with traitors that working within it is no longer a winning option. At every turn, DJT is stopped by usurping judges and bought congress vermin.

It will take extreme measures to purge domestic terrorists (which include media, educators, swamp dwellers, and other asundry “activists”.

Anything less will assuredly fall short, and the country will fall, IMO.

There are two basic problems, socialism and deep state.

American socialists are mostly snowflakes waiting for their next supreme leader to continue the march towards progress. The best Trump can do is slow it down. Making America great and independent is actually doable, although crippled to some extent by creeping socialism. There are millions of socialists in America. Extreme measures are not going to put a dent in that.

Meanwhile the deep state is difficult if not impossible to dislodge. Obama used the deep state and some extreme measures while the media covered up for him. We moved many steps further into deep state starting with Bush 1.

It's true that the socialists and deep state are not going to be dislodged without really extreme measures. But those aren't going to come from Trump. His goal is to make America great, deep state and all. He knows he can't make America great with socialism so that's his main fight.

I don't think the deep staters are all socialists although they are happy to support socialism as one tool to cripple America. I think they are mainly globalists and that's why they want to destroy Trump. They want America to be weak by any means necessary. They want to make the world into the third world that they can rule over and America is the primary obstacle to that long term plan.

Trump ( we ) may have won the election, but this amateur hour has got to stop and the sooner the better! OTOH....it appears that EVERYONE with any kind of knowledge and political experience is against our president and can't be trusted.

You can't drain the swamp by hiring swamp creatures.

Sorry, I should have put a /sarc tag.

I was saying what I see others are saying. I trust NO news outlets at all, at this point.

Lately the new push to destroy Trump is an nonstop onslaught of articles about how evil his hires and appointees are. ANd of course that would mean that Trump as a bumbling idiot, easily led, and badly influenced.

All of which is obviously not true!

I should have said "that's just your sarcastic opinion"!

One thing I learned early on is Trump is no idiot. There is a somewhat contradictory story in the media about that. On the one hand they would like to use the bumbling Bedtime for Bonzo attack on Trump. On the other hand they would like to portray him as a super villain. He can't really be both although I suppose his cabinet can be villified like you point out. That's easy enough for the lazy media.

In the meantime there are lots of good things getting done even in Congress. Not big ticket but the right direction.

The only thing I can figure is that they are moving these pieces elsewhere prior to closing down the operation or limiting it’s scope.

Otherwise I’m with you - it doesn’t make sense. But we have limited info.

We agree on many points, Palmer.

I think Tyrants come in several flavors. Deep State politicians represent the dynastical, global, wealthy, powerful elitists who bankroll them, and who they serve. Snowflakes are unfortunate products of their brainwashing propaganda institutions. They are useful idiots who are easily managed and used as willing warriors by their hard core communist leaders. Yes, all want to take down the U.S. and have made significant process.

Without freedom from Deep State and their choke hold on our monetary system through their private bank (Fed. Reserve) control, we won’t see lasting economic gains.

Freedom from socialism would have to come from the extreme measure of shutting down the Dept of Ed, all state educ. funding, and encouraging the closure of public education K-12 and especially higher public education.

One good DJT idea is to stop sending funds directly to colleges and universities, and instead help students directly, cutting the institutions out as the middle men. Not a cure-all, but a good start.

I agree Deep Staters are not all socialists. They are a mix of the spectrum of tyranny. Their main purpose is global power, control, and wealth. Yes, I agree they all share the same goal: America’s destruction.
