A good reason to like this is that unqualified minority athletes get accepted to (formerly) quality colleges and universities by Affirmative Action. I’d much rather that minorities have to meet the same rigorous standards as everyone else. That way, they’ll work harder and only the most qualified will be accepted.
Athletes aren’t a factor in graduate school admissions. In undergrad admissions, they’re numerically, if not financially, insignificant.
