The phrase illegal alien plays into assumptions that immigrants living in this country without proper documentation are criminals, Slowik wrote in a recent opinion piece for The Chicago Tribune.~~~~~~~~~~Criminals is what they are!

I don’t get the reaction by liberals.
Historically, the term used was illegal aliens. That changed as the liberals have changed language to be politically correct. Now they are just going back to the historic term. What’s wrong with that?
I understand liberals and PC types are upset, but all they are doing is restoring the language which had been used in the past.

And while we’re at it, let’s change “gay” back to deviants.

It's the proper word for the status.
Circa, 1780, aliens could not hold land in NYS. It was eventually changed.

Heard a woman on TV (Water’s World?) once decry, “They not *aliens*. They human beings.”

Hardly new. I first heard that term back in Houston in the 1970s regarding Australian friends who had allowed their employment visa to expire. They endured a difficult, expensive and lengthy process to finally get green cards, even though they now owned a business where they employed Americans. Not realizing the jeopardy they were in, their friends made a joke of it observing that they weren’t green, nor did they have antennae growing out of their heads.

Hey, they should be happy it wasn’t changed to “scum bags” which would most of them to a “T”

The term ‘looters’ also elicits some interesting reactions.

Chicago Tribune writer Todd Slowik complained that word choice is important, and can send the wrong message. Yeah, like using the term "undocumented" to hide the the fact that they are illegally in the country.

Liberals get uncomfortable when honest labeling conflicts with their fantasies. Truth here, truth there, and before long their entire fantasy world is exposed.

He’s right. Calling someone “undocumented” is a clever way of saying “don’t worry about this one.” Sort of like an “undocumented pharmacist” (which any normal person would call a “drug dealer”).
Yes, words DO matter. It is well past time to start calling spades, spades - and not some phu-phu, made up, BS term intended to totally distort reality. We definitely elected the right guy as President to deal a death blow to the PC idiocy...and to drive the condescending snowflake pricks who are trying to force that crap on us nucking futs. I am really enjoying winning - I’m far from being tired of it.

No matter where or what I post or email . . . I always use the term Illegal Aliens. They are what they are. Even GWB was soft on Illegal Aliens. About dang time the DOJ and others start using the right term and hopefully will soon not bastardize the 14th amendment and NOT permit anchor babies to be American Citizens.
