Trying to make some sense of all of this and my only conclusion is the Mueller Special Counsel appointment was completely illegitimate.

First, it was obviously a setup between Comey, his BFF Mueller and Rosenstein. As Ray76 said, "Comey to Rosenstein, Fire me. . Rosenstein: What? . . Comey: Fire me so that you can appoint a special council. Rosenstein: Brilliant! . . Comey: We can do this. We are the Resistance."

Second, going to § 600.1 Grounds for appointing a Special Counsel. "The Attorney General, or in cases in which the Attorney General is recused, the Acting Attorney General, will appoint a Special Counsel when he or she determines that criminal investigation of a person or matter is warranted. ." Appointing a Special Counsel in the absence of a crime is a violation of DOJ regulations. I thought President Trump wasn't under criminal investigation?

Third, throw in Comey and Mueller's long term mentor/protege relationship as a conflict of interest:

28 CFR 600.7 - Conduct and accountability. and

28 CFR 45.2 - Disqualification arising from personal or political relationship.

Reading through these two laws immediately disqualifies Mueller as it appears Comey and Mueller are BFFs and Comey/Rosenstein/Mueller set the whole thing up. . plus how can Mueller investigate or question Comey?

Fourth, Trump in not under criminal investigation, (which is required to have a special counsel appointed), there is no crime alleged and now a Washington D.C. Grand Jury is empaneled? . . for what?

When are Trump's attorneys going to unleash the Dogs of War on this whole debacle?

Those disqualification laws will not stop Mueller or his gang of 16 lawyers.

There is no doubt they are well into the grand jury procedure.

Did you notice that McMaster has removed several people from the National security council. A purge for sure - and with Kelly now Chief of staff, it could be the perfect setup for a coup. Remember, a silent coup is when the media has taken over.

Of course, one of the most intriguing parts of the Awan narrative is precisely why former DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz (DWS) decided to keep him on her taxpayer-funded payroll right up until his arrest and whether that decision had anything to do with the whole DNC / Hillary email scandals that erupted last summer.

A preliminary hearing for Awan is scheduled for August 21.

SOOOOOOOOO .... that's AT LEAST 30 DemocRATS that are worried about being EXPOSED !

The Democratic National Committee REFUSED to allow their computers and servers to be searched for evidence.
WHY ?
I propose that

the Democratic National Committee hired Amid Awan, Jamal Awan, Imran Awan, and Rao Abbas to do the hacking to search for evidence against their opponents in the 2016 election,
and also had them hack the Democratic National Committee's own computers and servers, so as to remove suspicion from the DemocRATS.

I believe it was the Democratic National Committee who was DOING the hacking and leaving FALSE TRACES of the Russians.

The sane part of me was for letting all of this play out but we are dealing with an entrenched evil deep state that's been boiling and growing for the past 50, maybe 100 years. Trump is an existential threat to their existence and continued growth.

It really is a coup d'état. It's either Trump or Mueller. Where are Trump's attorneys?

As someone alluded, Trump should cross the Rubicon, just fire Mueller, clean out the FBI, get rid of the leakers, the Obama holdovers throughout the bureaucracy, take the heat from the five forces against him and just keep focusing on his agenda.
