It has been a lucrative month for former President Barack Obama’s longest-serving senior adviser — she sealed a book deal with publishing house Viking in early July and joined the popular ride-hailing company Lyft on Monday.

Cashing in....leveraging her experience.

Perhaps, one of the special perks will be transportation to legal proceedings and/or transportation of hard drives.    /sarc

Lyft’s stock just went down for some investors.
This may keep Valerie occupied, busy stirring up stuff in her new cauldron. Better she does this than spend all day dreaming of ways to sabotage the president. That will be her weekend hobby activity now.

Hussein’s mentor (mentress?) and puller of strings. For eight years she was arguably history’s most powerful woman.

Lee, do you know how much board members get paid? Or is it a voluntary, non-pay position? Thanks!

“No more lyfty for me, Uber time.”

Used Uber for the first time today. I was impressed. The app said it was a thirteen minute wait, he was there in five. A seventy-five-ish, really together guy in a new-ish Toyota Siena. The price was a tad over a dollar a mile. Cheap, fast and totally enjoyable. I’m hooked.

It’s a college town. He does a lot of business Saturday and Sunday mornings picking up college girls from one night stands. One didn’t have her shoes as she’d left them in a guy’s apartment. She said, “just go.”

For eight years she was arguably history’s most powerful woman.

Doesn't hold a candle to Queen Victoria, Golda Meir or Margaret Thatcher.

Lyft was among the first to condemn the travel ban so this figures, “Funny” how a bunch of bad publicity came out about Uber when Lyft was getting thier sea legs, “funny”. Now this. If there was ever anyone who is the embodiment of evil it’s the serpent faced Jarrett.

Off the top of my head, no, I do not know how much board members of that sort of organization would be paid. I doubt very much if that would be considered a Non-Profit.
So that would mean salaries or at least stipends made available. Not that Val-Jar really needs the money, but who’s going to turn their nose up at a cool $50K to $80k annually?
That is my wild guess. Not counting any other fringe benefits and incentives, like free rides.

None for me either. Add it to The Boycott List

Stupid is as stupid does. The SOB should be fired. What a terrible business decision. Ranks right up there with Expedia putting a dildo like Chelsea on its board.
