WASHINGTON — President Trump has decided to remove Anthony Scaramucci from his position as communications director, three people close to the decision said Monday, relieving him just days after Mr. Scaramucci unloaded a crude verbal tirade against other senior members of the president’s senior staff.

The decision to remove Mr. Scaramucci, who had boasted about reporting directly to the president not the chief of staff, John F. Kelly, came at Mr. Kelly’s request, the people said. Mr. Kelly made clear to members of the White House staff at a meeting Monday morning that he is in charge.

More about singing from the president’s song book and staying on key.

Mooch was a one man car wreck who upstaged the president’s message motorcade.

Just like that, as mysteriously as he arrived, he was gone.

What remarks?

Are you kidding?

The ones where he referred to Trump as "anti-American," a "hack," with a "big mouth," and theorized he could be a "Democratic plant for Hillary Clinton" - among others.

Yet, he still got hired. And now people are surprised this is how it all ended.

I will. He’s a typical modern General. Not much combat, but a whole lot of Georgetown school of foreign service etc.
He is your typical NWO bureaucrat who is all in for the way Iraq went.
He is not a deep supporter of Trumps vision. He gets along with the Saudis, didn’t make a peep about homos and trannys in the military. He isn’t against a new war to remove Assad.

Same old crap. Call it weak, call it pussified, call it stupid, call it whatever. He isn’t a Norman Schwarzkopf or a Patton or a Ridgeway. He’s basically a globalist MBA in a uniform. And his mission is to get us a pussified Communications Director who will be a gentle soft punching bag, who is ever so careful to never offend anyone.

Scarammuci knew how to play the social media game and was going to utilize it to help Trump get his message out. We don’t need another establishment person - which is who I bet Kelly brings in. Trump wanted a communications director that answered to him versus his chief of staff. We needed someone who was going to toss out the old media strategy of responding and someone who would go on the offense. Yes, he used terrible language, but he made a mistake, and the bottom line is that I would have given him a chance. Ryan Lizza (who he had the infamous conversation with) said that he was one advisor who NEVER bashed Trump when others did off the record. He gave up everything to come work for Trump - even his marriage is ending - and after waiting six months, he didn’t get the job again after thinking he had it.

Maybe Kelly will prove me wrong, but he was not my pick. Why in the world Trump won’t pick Newt - someone beloved by the base who knows his way around Washington, passing legislation, and could run a White House - I don’t know.

Scaramucci always impressed me as a big loud mouth punk with no loyalty but to himself.

As Al Pacino said in "The Scent Of A Woman;"

Coincidentally, a different Pacino movie - Scarface - reminds me a lot more of Scaramucci.

My pearls are REAL and I don't clutch them; unlike you babies, and I don't have nor need a fainting couch.

You're just a pack of old hens, whose pristine ears burn, when a "naughty word" has been uttered,ANYWHERE, I guess. LOL

Newt doesn’t want it, he is having to much fun in his golden years as a Fox pundit.

It happens. Somebody who interviews well and looks good on paper doesn't necessarily always work out. There was a time when my company was in a sales slump and we brought in a VP of Sales that was highly touted. Almost from day one, we realized he was going to be a disaster and we cut bait on him rather quickly.

It's actually a sign of good leadership to rip off the band-aid and make the change quickly. I can think of weaker presidents who would be paralyzed under the same circumstances and be afraid to act quickly out of fear of what their critics and the media would say.

“Rush said it and he claimed that, in the N.Y. Times article about the firing and Kelly, that Kelly called Comey, when he was fired and comforted him. “

Not a surprise.

Mooch blew it. Straight up. Whiskied up is my guess, but his 11 PM call to Ryan Lizza, CNN, was to first slander and then LEAK the firing of Priebus for LEAKING.

Add that up = stepping on a landmine.
