07.31.17 Anthony Scaramucci RESIGNS as White House Communications Director Comes less than a week after hiring
JULY 31, 2017 Washington, DC (ABC/WBEN) Anthony Scaramucci resigns as White House Communications Director.
This comes the same day John Kelly was sworn in as Chief of Staff. Sources tell ABC Scaramucci resigned, asking to be redeployed at the Export Import Bank as chief strategy officer.
Scaramucci had not been on the job less than a week. It may be most memorable for an expletive-laden conversation with a New Yorker reporter that disparaged other members of the Trump team.
It’s not right for FReepers to live in a fantasy world. That’s for the Left. But you’re right. I phrased it poorly.

Someone hired the people he’s been firing. If they can’t get it right the first OR second time, what makes you think the person doing the hiring knows what the hell they’re doing.
No one wants Hillary but in order to get things accomplished - yes in DC where he works - you need a certain amount of political capital. Simply saying “do this, do that” doesn’t work like it did when you were CEO and it was your way or no way at all.
It’s a mess.

This is nothing but dog days of summer theater. It’s the silly season. Scaramucci was darn funny, to me at least. Probably good he’s not sticking around.

The main thing people should take away is that a bit of chaos does not mean Mr. Trump is not firmly in control. He LIKES a bit of covfefe as much as the next guy.

Tom Hagen: I can’t go with you either, Tessio.
[just then, Michael’s bodyguards materialize around them, Tessio understands everything]
Tessio: [to Hagen] Tell Mike it was only business. I always liked him.
Tom Hagen: He understands that.
Willi Cicci: [removing Tessio’s gun] Excuse me, Sally.
Tessio: Can you get me off the hook, Tom? For old times’ sake?
Tom Hagen: [shakes his head] Can’t do it, Sally.
[Hagen watches sadly as Tessio is led by Cicci and the others to a waiting car]

Mr. Trump gave Scaramucci an Apprentice assignment: Get rid of Priebus. The manner in which he accomplished the mission made Mr. Trump and Gen. Kelly say you’re fired too.

The press isn’t “making” anything. They’re not the ones firing people left and right and hiring the wrong people before the fact.
You can throw superlatives out all you want, but the buck starts and stops somewhere. And soon enough, better decisions need to be made.
You want to fix something - start with your congressman and senators. Oh, so Hillary has “political capital,” eh? That remark speaks volumes as to your intelligence and motives. It’s a mess precisely because IT IS D.C. AND TRUMP IS OPPOSING those who are awash in double-dealing their “political capital.” Good God, man, get a clue already!
