ObamaCare Fines Nailed The Working Class In 2017 And Other Unpopular Truths
Investor's Business Daily ^ | 7/29/2017 | Jed Graham

Preliminary data from the 2017 tax season are in, and they're shocking. Not only does it look like the working class bore the brunt of ObamaCare individual mandate penalties this year, but people with relatively modest incomes apparently paid a lot more than the Congressional Budget Office anticipated.

The data underscore a reality that Democrats would prefer not to talk about: While ObamaCare has been a big help to the near-poor and those with major medical needs, it gives a bad deal to nearly everyone else. Even among working-class households earning 150% to 250% of the poverty level, supposedly among the law's biggest beneficiaries, just 1 in 3 people who lack insurance from other sources are getting silver coverage that will protect them from financial disaster. Most of the other two-thirds are uninsured, either because they or a spouse work full time and don't qualify for exchange subsidies, or else they've spurned subsidized bronze plans that carry $6,000-$7,000 deductibles — despite the threat of an individual-mandate penalty.

The much-despised individual mandate was the central target of Republicans' chaotic, desperate effort this week to kill or wound the ACA in any way possible. Yet simply getting rid of the individual mandate, without addressing the ACA's underlying problems, would be a destructive act that would only increase premiums, which is the opposite of what Republicans say they want.

Obamacare offered “free” healthcare to the poor, but handed the bill to the Middle Class.

Yep. It was the main thrust by Obama to destroy the Middle Class (mostly white workers) and take down our Constitutional Republic.

I am Self Employed, The health insurance my wife and I had was cancelled due to Obamacare, it was a catastrophic care plan for $200 per Month, with a $10,000 deductible. Which personally is what we want and needed. I can easily afford to pay my own way for routine and regular Doctor Visits, stitches, minor and regular injuries,....

The new reduced Rate as a result of Obamacare was $1200 Per Month with a $7000 deductible and nobody accepts it for insurance. So that would be $20,000 per year just to have a Piece of Paper that says we are insured, without receiving a nickels worth of coverage. Needless to say I have paid the fine since day 1.

$20,000 gets you a WHOLE LOT OF CARE at the Surgery Center of Oklahoma as long as it is not a Life Threatening Emergency, we are on the first plane should the need arise.

And I would ask McCain if he likes screwing Americans. He will say he did not. That is an insane person. We have many in the Senate and House that should be committed.

The horror stories coming out of the O/Care debacle illustrate the unmitigated contempt the half/caste hate-filled Obama held for working class Americans.

MEMORY LANE---O/Care passed by an historic Democrat party-line vote w/ a massive, multi-billion-dollar slush fund that was deliberately kept hidden from us "stupid taxpayers" by self-serving Grubercrats.

=========================================

The Untraceable $8 Billion ObamaCare PR Budget---truly govt fraud at its finest. Egged on by Pelosi, Democrats voted in lockstep for Obamacare by an historic straignt-party line vote.

Not even one Democrat told Americans about Obamacare's Section 4002---which mandates an $8 Billion untraceable fund to "promote" Obamacare (apparently b/c Boobamba had so little confidence in his signature legislation).

THE PAYOFF--WHO GOT THE MONEY? HOW MUCH WENT OFFSHORE?
THE GRUESOME DETAILS---In 2010 Taxpayers are extorted $500 million, in 2011, $750 million, 2012, $1 billion, 2013, $1.25 billion, 2014, $1.5 billion, and, in 2015 and on, $2 billion

<><> Where is all that money going?

<><> Was cashing-in the incentive in getting the thing passed?

The sound of West Wing wire-transfers to state Democratic organizations and to offshore banks is almost palpable.

============================================

Turns out Obamacare is a vehicle for consolidating Dummycrat power.....complete w/ a multi-billion dollar slush fund financed by your tax dollar.

ITEM---A local couple called 10News concerned after they received an envelope from Obamacare website, Covered California. Inside was a letter discussing voter registration and a registration card pre-marked with an "x" in the box next to Democratic Party.

ITEM---Obamacare web site is also a voter registration site.

O/Care architect, MIT economics prof Jonathan Gruber, argued that perceived rising premium costs are really a one-time increase in 2016 to cover “massively underpriced” policies for the first two years of the 2010 law. He also said the increase “fixed” the problem because insurance companies were seeking signs of profitability and talking optimistically about continued participation in the program.

I guess Obama didn't let Gruber in on the "billion dollar secret."
Probably Obama was depending on Gruber's stupidity (smirk).

Obama Siphoned off Billions in GSE Dividends To Prop Up OBAMACARE

ZeroHedge ^ | April 2, 2017 / FR Posted on by Zakeet

Earlier this month, Harvard Ph.D. Jerome Corsi of InfoWars (@jerome_corsi) and a CPA "who worked for two years for a major U.S. accounting firm as an outside auditor for Freddie Mac," confirmed a 2012 scheme hatched by the Obama administration.

The audacious looting involved funnelling hundreds of billions in dividends from Government Sponsored Enterprises (GSE) Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac to prop up the failing Obamacare program - by paying subsidies to insurers to remain in the system. [Snip]

The conclusion reached by Corsi and others is that this was probably illegal. In fact, House Republicans actually sued the Obama Administration in 2014 over the fact that the subsidies to insurers weren't appropriated by congress and won, which the Obama administration appealed.

Zerohedge and the Atlanta Journal Constitution pointed out last week, the Trump administration has until May 22nd to decide whether or not to pursue the appeal: (Excerpt) Read more at zerohedge.com ...

The Royal Idiot doesn't know much........ but he learned in "the community" that laws don't matter.

The half-caste misfit could care less about US laws: that monies designated for one use cannot be appropriated for another.

Don’t forget the billions of dollars in administrative costs contained in the HIPPA medical privacy bill so that no one would find out about their illnesses.

And the billions of dollars siphoned off from the medical community to the software developers caused by the mandated integrated electronic medical records. Which are easily hacked.

Oh, and the millions spent complying with the govt directive that everyone should be able to get medical care using the language of their native country, no matter how obscure. No longer can their family members translate for them. That’s considered a violation of privacy.

My wife and I are 63 and, thanks to the 8% rule, have been without health insurance since 1/1/2014, are required to pay no penalty and have saved over $50,000 AFTER TAX in premiums.

Funny thing is that it was scary at first, but now we would have it no other way.

Don’t tell anybody, but there is little the “mainstream” health care industry has to offer us, and the things we really would need it for (broken bone setting, etc.) are just not that expensive.

The country has been sold a bill of goods that spans everything from our quality of life, our life choices, and our income and health care management. It’s a seriously screwed up culture.

We’ve decided not to play. It was a very good move.

I heard a figure somewhere of about $20 million dollars in fines (or was it a tax?) over the last few years as the total paid by those who didn’t want or couldn’t afford to buy Obamacare coverage - this is an astounding punishment to lay on Americans for exercising their freedom.....
