In Washington, its never about what they tell you its about. So take this to the bank: The case of Imran Awan, Debbie Wasserman Schultzs mysterious Pakistani IT guy, is not about bank fraud.
[Snip]
Awan and his family cabal of fraudsters had access for years to the e-mails and other electronic files of members of the Houses Intelligence and Foreign Affairs Committees. It turns out they were accessing members computers without their knowledge, transferring files to remote servers, and stealing computer equipment including hard drives that Awan & Co. smashed to bits of bytes before making tracks.

This is not about bank fraud. The Awan family swindles are plentiful, but they are just window-dressing. This appears to be a real conspiracy, aimed at undermining American national security.

While some Awans were rarely seen around the office, we now know they were engaged in extensive financial shenanigans away from the Capitol. Nevertheless, the Daily Callers Luke Rosiak, who has been all over this story, reports that, for their IT work, the Pakistani family has reeled in $4 million from U.S. taxpayers since 2009.
Thats just the legit dough. The family business evidently dabbles in procurement fraud, too. The Capitol Police and FBI are exploring widespread double-billing for computers, other communication devices, and related equipment.
Why were they paid so much for doing so little?

... a long, excellent read of yet another major Rat criminal conspiracy ...
They are after Trump for obstruction of justice while the Democrats smash blackberries and destroy servers right and left. They have no intention though.
Drudge has BURIED the story. WHY??
Send the link to him. Maybe Drudge just hasn’t been paying attention.
One of the bro’s was holding down the car dealership “Cars International, A, LLC” (CIA) right?
Looks like his angle might actually have been exporting luxury cars stolen in the USA to Pakistani buyers.
They’d sell cars on consignment, too, and whaddya know, a LOT of them would mysteriously get stolen.
One dealer selling his stuff through the Awans complained when his car disappeared.
THEN HE GOT KILLED.
No, something’s up with Drudge. Project Veritas recently destroyed CNN over the Russia scam, and Drudge ignored it completely. I don’t even visit the site anymore. There are better sources.
It’s getting weird Drudge hasn’t touched the Awans.
Super weird.
They have a crew. Certainly have been instructed to bury the story.
Sex was involved.
The threat to national security caused by the Awan clan has been publicly known since 2/2/17 when they were banned from access to House networks.
Why has there not been a single Republican voice raised about this? As a "talking point" it should have been shoe-horned into every interview and statement given by the GOP.
Is it possible that the Republican partyy lives in FEAR of what might be discovered should sunlight intrude under this rock?
Could the GOP be the dog that didn't bark?
try Liberty Daily just a good as old Drudge. I gave up on Drudge too. Full of him self! too important to cover the real news.
[ Debbie Wasserman Schultz and the Pakistani IT Scammers - Theres more than bank fraud going on here ]
He just wanted to get out of town wit’ all da’ cash.
Before he gets Seth Rich’d — oops, I mean, becomes the victim of “a botched robbery”.
Where’s the FBI...Sessions?
Oh nevermind...
Hopefully this isn't true, though I have been suspecting for awhile now that Drudge is off the reservation. Homosexuals are inherently unstable and thus undependable.
I agree....
...hes buried it!
That’s what I have wondered since
Awads arrest.
And FReerepublic has been under attack
For the last week...?!?
Coincidence?
+1
Nothing will be done here. No jail time.
