Little Rock police have identified the victim in Friday's homicide as 31-year-old Carlo Marigliano.
According to the victim's family, Marigliano, was visiting Little Rock from Italy and spoke limited English and was traveling with an Italian tour group when he decided to break away and explore the city alone.
The victims family tells KATV they are flying in from Italy and the Italian Consulate is getting involved in the investigation.
Little Rock police are not releasing any suspect information.

My dad did this to my great aunt and uncle. Pretended to be lost in Watts. Got a big kick out of my aunt’s nervousness and her locking the car’s doors. Of course this was in 1951 or 52 so we were perfectly safe.
Why do Americans go to Lourdes? Some folks want to make a pilgrimage to see the Shrine at Lourdes, some folks want to make a pilgrimage to see the Shrine of St. Stes Hillary and Bill.
Some folks are Roman Catholic; others are Evangelical Liberals.
[Why would anyone from Italy wish to tour/visit Little Rock?]
While working in a dying, po-dunk Kansas town, they had an exchange student from Italy there. It was in the local rag, which, of course, was liberal.
Don’t get me wrong; I love small towns.
BUT I thought, if she goes back to Italy imagining this town represented America.....
Lots of problems in Little rock...may be gang related...

All you have to do is find the nearest MLK Boulevard.
You see where it says “Rib Tips”? You don’t wanna go that way. Now you go find a Torino with no wheels on it....
I’m here on vacation, from the south side of Chicago (same town the Griswolds were from)
Near its intersection with Malcolm X Boulevard, or closer to Ceasar Chavez?
I live in Little rock and we only have 5.28 murders a month. Most of them in about one section of town on about three streets.
I imagine this fellow went into an area he should have stayed out of.
That night club shooting was a one time only deal. Two gangs in the same club to watch a rapper concert. Disaster waiting to happen.
I wonder if he knew Hillary?
Report only said, "...limited English." However, he might have been fluent in ebonics.
On the other hand, in the better neighborhoods of the state, foreigners with medical degrees use bombs. http://www.arkansasonline.com/news/previousfeatures/doctorbombing/
In the early eighties, an exchange student came to my HS from Denmark. What an eye opener it must have been. In my HS only 20% (at the time) went on to any higher learning. Lots of farming and small town thinking. He thought it was all big cities and loose women...
[He thought it was all big cities and loose women...]
But we had never heard about the Kardashians back in the 1980’s....
(j/k)
Well, they believe the 12 drivebys the week before the night club shooting were gang related, so not necessarily one-time thing...Seems tha tthere are rival gangs in a turf battle in Little Rock
