White House budget director Mick Mulvaney said Sunday that it's official White House policy that nothing else gets a vote in Congress before healthcare.
"Yes," it's official policy that the Senate stay focused on ObamaCare reform before voting on anything else, Mulvaney told Jake Tapper on CNN's State of the Union.
President Trump's calls for Republican senators to prioritize passing a bill to repeal and replace ObamaCare are "simply reflecting the mood of the people," he said.

At this point a tax cut sure would be nice!
So no tax cuts, no confirmations, no wall, nothing gets done as long as the Rats and the rinos drag out the HC BS.
Great just great.
LOL! Hey, Rino’s got balls?
Remove the government waiver that exempts all government employees! from the ACA! Remove all the waivers on the ACA that Obama granted to all those industries & unions! ACA needs influx of participants and premium dollars, Doctors & insurance companies? Create the great shift insurers & doctors WILL participate when their patient’s healthcare suddenly changes!
Let slip the dogs of war! Or the faux pups. We need Mooch type comm on this new bill too!
Bluff?
With a hundred members and ample staff, The Senate should be able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.
Don’t they have content Committees structured to provide division of labor?
Ditch Mitch.
Obamacare has been in the fabric too long. The GOP if it was worth a damn should have been fighting/stalling its implementation from the very beginning using every trick in the book.
The Democrats would have done it if it was something against their agenda. Look at what they are doing now. Out of the majority and they still run the Congress thanks to the Democrats in the GOP.
Instead we got conciliatory statements pulled out of asses like Boehner’s “Its the law of the land”.
What do you think is going to get done if Congress can’t get this done? Just more chances for them to fail.
The only chance for the other actions is to say the line is drawn here.
What amazes me was the so-called impotence of the GOP Congress when it came to Obama’s agenda. Now they have no problem blocking Trump at every turn.
What’s that tell you?
Not just this but Trump should challenge that if current Senate and House leadership cannot get things done—after 7x voting repeal, now not when it really counts—they should resign.
Collusion.
As an employer, I know, Washington, D.C., it’s more than a mood. The Republicans have about 6 months before this chaos goes to people accepting the concept of single payor.
Health insurance with large ($5k) deductibles does not equal health care. The Pareto Principle has not being revoked. Get it together and deliver a plan the gives people access to health care. And if it puts them on a scale and makes them pay more if they smoke, so be it. Empiricism is a bitch. (Guilty, cigars).
I really don't know who's advising him. Instead of a brilliant infrastructure plan, we're getting this support-destroying fear of removing AG Sessions from his position.
Unfortunately, that's what establishment Republicans are all about. Campaign issues they won't fulfill and lining their pockets.
I doubt that Congress cares what White House policy is. I suspect that they will turn to the Defense appropriations act and recess for their August vacation on time. If the President doesn’t call them back into session then he’s lost all control over them.
What about tax reform?
