Every company or government employee who has health care plan at work buys something negiotiated with the insurance companies.

Congress buys insurance through the appropriate HR function. The US Army provides several health care plans that DOD employees can participate by buying - Congress is not different. Unions exist to ensure employees (private and govt sectors) keep and gain more benefits.d Part of the reason for having a job is to participate in affordable insurance.

” Part of the reason for having a job is to participate in affordable insurance. “

You’ve never run a business, have you?

The purpose of a business is not to ensure you let employees “keep and gain more benefits”. It’s to make a profit. When employees compensation and benefits cost more than the value they create the jobs disappear (in the private sector).

Employees in the private sector (where all money to support everything government does originates) employees must be more productive to “keep and gain more benefits”.

Congress should live under the legislation they mandate the private sector, self-employed people, and others so they can fully appreciate their F*ck-ups.

This includes Obamacare.

They have no self-interest in fixing the problem, so they won’t do it, because they are Congressmen.

Trump, I hope, will align their interests with those of the American people on this issue. Then, and only then, will the problem be solved.

Congress & their staffers ARE different, due to the Obama administration giving them an exemption. Several other links on this thread, in addition to mine, explain how it works.
