So happy to read this. I recall many of us recommending this action to DJT during the campaign. You’re right, he already knew this and protected himself accordingly.
Now, let us hope he truly purges ALL who are betraying him (and us).

Don’t you see the similarities? Jesus was persecuted and DJT is in the same boat. Unjustices, both. Of course there is no real comparison but persecutions, both.
Yes of course......nothing passes the eyes and the ears of Our God who is still in charge laplata....this we know. He will use whatever means HE chooses to accomplish his purposes and will in this Presidency and it’s administration. The men who stand in ‘HIS WAY’ are but a breath.....
Trump all to well knew fully what He was up against in turning this boat around.......he gave them all a fair chance to get on board or fight against him.......it takes time to unveil and reveal the enemy hiding behind masks of deception and corruption.....I believe a lot of what we see is Trump ‘testing’ who really opposes it.
HE also knows he’s going to get hurt in these brawls....and so does his family. It’s the sacrifice great men and women are willing to take to free a nation from strongholds of power. Our Military face it every day....so will the Trumps as we are seeing.

But who now “know” that he should be fired based on the extensive knowledge that they have gained from reading a critical opinion piece based heavily on the opinions of the neverTrumper Weekly Standard’s Lee Smith.
Feel free to tell us how wonderful things will be if Trump starts taking advice from Bill Kristol and the rest of the cabal over at Weekly Standard.

You must have missed the ecstasy expressed by the likes of Bill Kristol and Lindsey Graham the day McMaster was appointed, along with the reactions of so many others of the wrong crowd.
Donald was giving a chance for Priebus, Bannon, and others on the early team to make recommendations. As soon as Kristol and Graham reacted as they did, many here on FR including myself were suddenly aware that the wrong person had slipped through the cracks.
Since then, McMaster has been seen to be a poor liar such as when he announced on the White House lawn that leaks would not be tolerated, when in fact he is a big source of the leaks, but he is more careful than most not to get caught. He’s knowledgeable about covert double agent cover tactics and he uses them to escape detection.
A trap should be and I am sure will be set for him.
But as you commented, if you’re happy to go along with the approval of McMaster by the likes of Kristol, Graham, feel free to step in it.

Had you ever heard of him before he was appointed NSA? Or does all your knowledge of McMaster come from Kristol and Graham’s reported reactions to his appointment, as seems to be the case?
