But of course, neither are a lot of other Senators.
It was tongue in cheek, but you can be offended if you wish. A chimp would be better than Stabenow or Franken. As would someone who lost to Joe DIrt.
It has gotten to the point where if and when I feel a candidate truly loves this country, it makes them more than qualified for office. There are other considerations, but this is one that Kid Rock easily surpasses. That plus a showman who can work as hard as a performer should be able to keep up with the trials of mental midgets in DC.
