GATEWAY PUNDIT EXCLUSIVE: Reince Priebus Was Scratching Scaramucci Off of President’s Schedule
The Gateway Pundit ^ | July 28, 2017 | Jim Hoft

Posted on 07/28/2017 1:59:19 PM PDT by COUNTrecount

It’s no secret that President Trump’s Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci do not much care for each other — and this was BEFORE the The New Yorker piece was published on Thursday.

After the November election President Trump asked Anothony Scaramucci to join his Administration. Scaramucci sold his company, SkyBridge Capital, in anticipation of joining President Trump in the White House but Reince Priebus reportedly blocked him from being appointed to a top job within the administration.

Late last week President Trump appointed Scaramucci Communications Director despite continued objections from Reince Priebus.

Scaramucci was understandably furious with Priebus after his successful attempt to block him from office earlier this year.

But Priebus’s antics did not end there. According to a Gateway Pundit source close to the situation Anthony Scaramucci was scheduled to meet with President Trump in the White House five different times last month. Each time the appointment was scheduled on the president’s calendar Chief of Staff Reince Priebus reportedly scratched his name off the book. Scaramucci was furious.

There is also reports of Priebus running up and down the halls in the White House like a “paranoiac.”

This week Scaramucci told reporters he does not stab people in the back — he stabs them in the front. And he did just that. After his dinner with the president was leaked, once again, to the press, Scaramucci called New Yorker reporter Ryan Lizza … and the rest is history.

This week Fox News’ Kimberly Guilfoyle revealed that Reince Priebus was a problem. Guilfoyle told President Trump during dinner with him on Thursday that Priebus was the leaker.

This story was also leaked to The New York Times.

She and Hannity and at least one other Trump Friend from FOX went to see POTUS to let them know the Prebus was a leaker. They took documentation from what I understand. Its an example of legitimate newspeople being loyal to the President.

Looking forward to her comments tonight on THE FIVE !

I think President Trump was trying to make nice with the flamer Ryan. Looks like that is over.

Still I wouldn’t have expected him to be the leaker since at the end of the campaign he did help Trump. Who will now trust Priebus?

There was an idea that Priebus’ friendship with Ryan would help Trump get cooperation in the House. The help never materialized, though. Priebus couldn’t deliver.

Exactly. The moderate liberal wing of the party which Priebus came from is not onboard with the 63 million plus Trump voters. Trump is playing the long game and now he has Kelly and the Mooch ready to round up the renegades. Get your popcorn now!

Bet her tip line goes quiet!

Yup. Leaking, nameless, backstabbing cowards should not call Kimberly.

Don’t know whether conversation was on or off the record

The Mooch was straight forward in his tweets and on record comments

“To Priebus’s credit the RNC performed excellently during the campaign.”

II must be thinking of another campaign. In 2016, Priebus was behind that Pussygate coup attempt when they wanted to draft Pence, who thankfully didn’t play ball.
He imposed ZERO party discipline on the never Trumpers.

He’s a snake in the grass.

I don’t know that much about Scaramucci, but I don’t have a problem with how he communicates.

Harsh language can be a tool.

It can be a very effective tool.

If it’s not used too much.

Uhhh...what?????

Priebus did everything he could to stop Trump. Then he finally came around when he saw he was going to win. Don’t rewrite history.

Great post! No more Mr Nice Guy—and at least a few of these GOP turncoats will learn the hard way. One or two more Cantors, and the rest may be in the mood to listen.

It got Priebus out of the RNC, maybe that was the real goal.

Trump most likely thought hiring Priebus would give him currency with Ryan. Obviously didn’t work out that way.

Disagree completely. The RNC is my least favorite organization on earth, but they could have easily sunk Trump. They raised money and operated quite effectively in the general. If this was not the case, there is no way Trump would have chosen him as COS. None. I am not a big fan of the guy, but Trump put him in the most trusted role a president has. He had to have been impressed.
