Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said "it is time to move on" in a floor speech early Friday after the stunning defeat of the GOP's scaled-down plan to repeal key parts of ObamaCare.
McConnell seemed close to choking up during brief remarks on the floor after falling short of his promise to repeal ObamaCare after three GOP senators voted against the "skinny" repeal bill.
McConnell called GOP efforts to repeal ObamaCare "the right thing for the country," despite their final efforts to push for repeal being unsuccessful.

Oh yeah, Mitch, what’cha gonna do next for us, tax cuts?
The Wall?
Recess?
I’ma go with recess.
The False Party has to go.
(too bad that wasn't what he meant)
Thanks for nothing, RINOs. What a damned farce
It’s time for McConnell to move on.
I would suggest it’s time to bring the Fake GOP members home. Send a note....a tweet...a simple two-liner email, and just let your guy know that he needs to prep up his resume and look for real work back home in his state. His services will no longer be required.
It’s amazing that for almost a decade....the Fake Party stood there in the presence of the public and no one questioned their existence.
I really don’t blame him, we know what he is. I blame the morons who keep reelecting him.
Come on .. ALL of you just KNEW that Juan McStain would be the one! He should probably go ahead and die. And that’s the nicest thing I can say about that pantload! 325MILLION are now STUCK with an UNaffordable healthcare system that is breaking family budgets because of him.
That too. If the republicans keep "0bama's Mitch" and Paul RINO as their leaders, the "GOP" is finished within a year.
Translation: Our insurance company and pharmaceutical donors like Obamacare so we couldn’t care less what you peons want.
Any honest agenda for improving healthcare must start with repeal of the dishonestly named Affordable Care Act of 2010...To that end, a Republican president, on the first day in office, will use legitimate waiver authority under the law to halt its advance and then, with the unanimous support of Congressional Republicans, will sign its repeal.
There will be a line
Starting with MIA families
In 2013 McConnell says “repeal root and branch”, in 2017 he says “move on”
Are you resigning, Mitch?
Move along, nothing to see here. Just people bankrupt from rising ObamaCare costs...move along
The author won’t name the three Republicans? Clearly trying to protect them.
And a democrat operative.
