Because he is acting on behalf of President Trump and doing his work. Is your position that he can go to fire someone on behalf of President Trump, and they can say “sorry, you cant fire me because you haven’t received an official ID badge yet?” LOL, tell us what you think might happen about 2 to 3 minutes later.
I’m guessing Trump has them nailed. I doubt those fired will be doing much public complaining as they have probably been informed about just how guilty they are.

Just a guess but I'm thinking he has the authority granted to him by the President so I'm pretty sure he isn't working against Trump. Trump is livid over these leaks.
I think he really likes Sessions too but wants to motivate him to be more of pitbull like Mucci.
Trump is used to the private sector where chit gets done fast or they find someone else who will/can do the job. The swamp pit that is the US government is like swimming in cold molasses to get anything done.
If he’s acting on orders from Trump, it doesn’t matter if he got into the White House on a tour.
Also, he’s the Communications Director, so he can fire those that are under him, and in his department. I don’t see how he can fire someone outside his department. So, the assumption he is going to fire Priebus does not hold water.
