Bold St. was the upper class shopping area in Liverpool in the 60’s, but new stores moved towards the river Mersey and the Liverpool One giant shopping centre finally did the area in.

Also the rapid growth of student numbers in the city center is starting to become a problem. The city is full of new, and those still under construction, buildings dedicated to student housing. A reputation as a student party city never ends well...:^)

I heard someone on the radio the other day talking about a recent trip to Greece. He asked his cabdriver why Greece wasn’t having the problem of Muslim invaders assaulting their women like other European countries. CCW is legal in Chicago, though businesses have the right to ban firearms on their property (and many of them do). Get outside of Chicago and Cook County and Illinois is pretty conservative, and there are a hell of a lot of gun owners.
