Backers say the risky, often expensive projects are urgently needed to find ways of meeting the goals of the Paris climate deal... Morons. The only thing they need to do is to prevent sunspots in order to drive us to a Maunder minimum. (Yes, I know that begs notions of cause and effect). Now, ordinarily, liberals would spend a google dollars preventing sunspots... but what'y'ya know, they are disappearing all by they little selves.

$.5M/yr to suck up the CO2 equivalent of 45 Americans. They don't even suck very good. Then, one volcano blows and puts 1,000,000 times that back in the atmosphere. Idjits.

Weren’t they going to put some type of dark matter on them to absorb more sunlight so they would melt?

If we give them enough money maybe they can reduce the CO2 levels sufficient to cause mass extinction. Seems to be their goal. They're working on a two-fer here. First, by removing the CO2 that is literally the stuff of life, and second, by blocking the sunlight so that plant growth will be inhibited.
I guess that simply trying to remove enough CO2 to destroy earthly life is going too slow for the fanatics. They need to speed it up.

World output of CO2: 38bn tons. @ $600/ton that's $23 trillion/yr. Total world GDP: $78 trillion/yr. A climate scientist with a calculator is like a fish with a bicycle.

Reminds me of an office building I once worked in. Half the females had portable heaters trying to stay warm and half had portable fans trying to cool off.
And all the men were too warm (but didn’t complain).

Really really stupid. Energy is needed to run the fans. Plants use co2. Plant trees, idiots!

I don’t remember exactly what they planned. But every time I see the reporting of the ice melting and everyone is going to die, I think just a few decades ago they wanted to melt it themselves because everyone was going to die. Bunch of wackos.

Plant Trees!!!!!
I remember an article/post about how $15,000 worth of trees would have the same affect as their $5M contraption.

Most people plant trees and grass. These pinheads just tax everyone to line their own pockets.

[ This is why I have never understood the environmentalist logic in recycling paper. Paper comes from trees that are planted as a crop. It is like recycling wheat. Bury the paper in a landfill and plant more trees. ]
Landfills technically sequester carbon....

Scientists dim sunlight, suck up carbon dioxide to cool planet They should move to Maine, we have dim sunlight and a tree every square foot. It sucks for the first 5 months of the year.

"Backers say the risky, often expensive projects are urgently needed to find ways of meeting the goals of the Paris climate deal to curb global warming that researchers blame for causing more heatwaves, downpours and rising sea levels. "
Thermonuclear war! That should work, though it could cause a brief warming period.
To: plain talk
So the solution to climate change is to change the climate ? These people all need to be shot. We are in a ice age you retards.
