I thought they grew iron ore in Northern Michigan?
I think those farmers in Northern Michigan need to make up their minds.
They can grow iron ore or potato chips. Not both.
I don’t want to open up a bag of Lays chips and see a bunch of nails in there. OK, maybe barbecued nails but not regular nails.

Is that because the chip plants don’t do well in the warmer climates down south?
Or maybe the soil chemistry of northern Michigan is uniquely helpful for chip farming, sorta like the soil around Vidalia GA is great for onions?
