"This heavy-handed litigation is an outrage."

You would think that Trump's new cabinet would have been directed to do a thorough review of ongoing litigation and drop those cases that are senseless. Then again I am not a lawyer. Is there a principle why this is not done when a new administration comes on board?

I think there may have been bigger fish to fry.

I can say one thing: John Duarte is one of the nicest gentlemen in agriculture.

This whole litigation is a travesty.

You can bet there is a local fed manager with a very serious authoritarian complex who started this. There always is. They give these guys far too much power and they allow no appeals over this position. His decision stands, even if it is not the law and code, they can just make them up as they go.

The Crown has granted them Lordship over the Tenants and Serfs.

This is crazy.

The short list includes destruction of evidence, perjury, not responding properly to subpoenas, ignoring long-term use of the property (go back decades, not one year).....

The Federal government appears to be very dirty on this one.

This needs to be investigated by private “concerned citizens” much more deeply. How much you want to bet the agent who started this has had problems before and has been transferred around a few times. There might even be court documents and cases pertaining to this persons conduct already. This is what happened in Oregon but they don’t talk about it. Turns out the local field manager was a firebug from way back in other states, Court cases and all.

Honestly it is silly from the start... Read the “introduction” in the Docket, The “wetland” “Dryland” argument is silly. The Furrows and Ridges created “Small mountain ranges” and “Mini uplands”.

Sounds like someone wants this guys land and is using an ignorant government Berkeley environmental Grad to get it. Someone dug really really deep for this one...

I would be embarrassed to put my name on something this silly.

It is even more shocking when you look at the property and have to get down on your hands and knees to see these modified terrain features.

Mr. Duarte really has my prayers on this one.

He’s been getting the shaft from the government.
