Hmmm.
Hmmm is right. While that appears to be the correct response, it was the homeowner's deadly mistake. Would he have done this with a home invader? No? Then why did he do this with the cops? Did he know it was the cops at his door?
If so, opening the door with a pit bull and a personal weapon is just suicide by cop.
Perhaps someone can explain why a law abiding citizen is NOT allowed to answer his door armed, at any time, let alone at midnight with someone banging on your door.
And maybe you could also explain why, in a nation protected by the constitution, why police are allowed to shoot anyone who is deemed to have a gun? Are our rights to be armed not guaranteed by the constitution?
We are now in a terrible time, where if a person is thought to be armed, police are allowed to shoot them on the spot. How are we to exercise our second amendment rights when police are allowed to shoot on sight anyone exercising those rights?
“If so, opening the door with a pit bull and a personal weapon is just suicide by cop.”
Would you say the same thing if it was an off-duty cop that they murdered?
Would you advise off-duty cops to always make sure they’re unarmed when a gang of armed thugs tries to break down their door?
Hmmm?
I’ve come to expect ignorant stuff from you over time. You think he was expecting cops?
I answer unexpected knocks with a sidearm handy, and my Lab is always anxious to greet “visitors”. Guess I deserve to be gunned down by errant cops because I wanted to commit “suicide” in your myopic world.
