I’m an Alabama native and Sessions was my Senator. I was a huge supporter when he was Senator and was elated when he was appointed AG.

That’s why it pains me to see how timid and incompetent Sessions has been as AG. He doesn’t even seem like the same man.

I’m deeply disappointed in the trivial issues that Sessions has decided to focus on: Civil forfeiture and the punishment of everyday pot smokers and medical marijuana users.

Sessions has always been strong on immigration so why isn’t he aggressively going after Sanctuary Cities? He needs to be putting the hammer on those treasonous cities.

The prosecution of Hillary, Obama, Loretta Lynch, Eric Holder and Lois Lerner should be on the table. Violent hate groups such as Antifa should be punished for their crimes.

But Sessions chooses to be a “gentleman” and go easy on the traitors who are destroying this country. We need a ruthless attack dog who will give the enemy no quarter, not a polite gentleman.

I now wish Sessions would have remained as a Senator because he was more effective in that role.

I don’t blame Trump for being furious about Sessions recusing himself. That was a mistake and a White Flag to the Democrats.

He is going after sanctuary cities, but I think a California judge has blocked some part of it out there.

Sessions did what he should have done from an ethical, conflict of interest point of view. If Trump and Preibus and the WH counsel wanted to be certain he did not recuse, they should have gotten together and hashed out the issues and come to a team conclusion. Not all Sessions' fault.

I'm also in Alabama and hated to see him leave the senate.

And he still does not have an FBI director who would be cooperative. He probably can't do much on some of these other investigations until he can work with a new FBI director.

And we could have a different AG and see immigration enforcement recede seriously. We might get a replacement picked by Jared and Ivanka. Rudy is no hawk on immigration if he should be interested in being AG.

And with the way Sessions is being treated, who would be interested in being the AG? That will affect people who might consider one of the many unfilled positions in the executive.

Sessions has DCitus. The senate operates like a large club, sure there is some "fighting" for the public consumption but deep down it is a place where there is us and them and they are not talking about political parties.

Sessions, as far as I can tell, did not think that Trump was serious about draining the swamp. He expected a few small things for the media but nothing major. Now he is finding out that business as usual is not acceptable to his boss. He had to choose between his old buddies in the senate and this upstart outsider who just does not understand how things are done. He is choosing poorly.

I look for Trump to fire Sessions sometime after the senate goes into recess and do a recess appointment of someone who has no friends in Washington DC. He will be ordered to pull the plug on the swamp.

Hillary nabbed Session’s FBI file while she was the First Lady. His and 900 other people she wanted to be sure to be able to control in her political future after Bill was president.

Trump’s file was NOT collected. She did not foresee him at all.

See the difference?
