That’s exactly what I was thinking. Trump and sessions made this all up the rift....
The media are so obsessed with coming up with false information they are too stupid to read the writing on the wall.

If the last week or so of Sessions-bashing by Trump was just a head fake, I’ll be surprised.
And if I am surprised, well, it was a damned impressive head fake, one that got everyone lined up behind Sessions, so now whatever he reports will have to be taken seriously.
Actually, that’s true whether the Trump/Sessions duel (duet?) was a head fake or not, now that I think it over some.
.... Exactly what I was thinking. Trump knows that if Sessions were to .... "Step Down" .... He would then need to be replaced ... which of course .... the Dems and "Never Trumpers" would try to facilitate the installation of someone of "Their" choosing that would be easier controlled from within the Swamp.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. makes no sense for trump to attack Sessions, so I figured there was a good chance trump was simply F-ing with the enemedia.
And if it’s true that sessions is going to announce various anti-Dem investigations, then it DOES make sense for trump to pretend like sessions is “rogue”.
That should be Br’er Fox not Br’er Wolf.
