A Wisconsin company plans to implant rice-sized microchips in its employees

Many companies use electronic ID cards as a security measure to make sure only employees have access to get into the office. Well, soon, employees at one Wisconsin-based company won't need an ID because they will have microchips.

To many it may sound invasive, but come Aug. 1, Three Square Market (32M) will become the first company in the U.S. to offer implanted microchip (RFID chip) technology to all of its employees.

The company, which develops software used in vending machines, said in a press release that the microchips will allow employees to make purchases in the break room, open doors, log in to computers and use the copy machine.

"We see chip technology as the next evolution in payment systems, much like micro markets have steadily replaced vending machines," Three Square Market CEO Todd Westby said in a release. "As a leader in micro market technology, it is important that 32M continues leading the way with advancements such as chip implants."

The company said it's expecting more than 50 staff members to voluntarily have a chip implanted between the thumb and forefinger underneath the skin.

The chip implant will use near-field communications (NFC), which is the same technology used in contactless credit cards and mobile payments.

Three Square Market said it sees this as a step toward bigger and better things.

"Eventually, this technology will become standardized allowing you to use this as your passport, public transit, all purchasing opportunities, etc." Westby added.

The CEO and Board of Directors are going to go first, right?

I saw this on FBN this morning. I’d be looking for a new job. So far their ‘offering’ it to their employees and not forcing it on them. But I wouldn’t want to work for a company that thought this was a good idea.

They can always quit.

GPS was put on our vehicles for ‘safety’ reasons. Next people were being suspended for not being where they should have been. Hey man, it’s their company.

This is how the camel’s nose gets in the tent.

First it is offered as some voluntary thing, presented as a good idea for this or that reason .

Eventually it can become strongly encouraged or mandatory.

And it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that this technology will be used for things other than they are talking about now.

I think that East Germany had a similar kind of way to keep track of human movement and activities.

“And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.”

all they have to do is put the chip in people’s foreheads , and give it the proper markings to achieve the book of revelations prophecy.

This is the insanity that would cause a company to put RFID readers in the toilets. When an employee uses the toilet, that time will be deducted from their time on the job. Of course, they will sell Depends in the company store and hire Dominatrix employees with leather whips to make sure the workers do their jobs faster.

You got to compete with those Chinese who know how to make slave animals of toil out of people.

What SANE person would agree to such a thing.
Whether voluntary or mandatory, I WOULD BE QUITTING THAT COMPANY or any company that wanted something like this so fast you would hear the thunderclap of the air falling into the vacuum I would leave.

One step at a time...

Yep, they have most of us carrying our chips in devices now, but thkse can be stolen, lost and broken.

Next step are these chips in the hand.

When that becomes the standard, youll see folks losing their hands ro thieves. After that, the forehead.

"Many companies use electronic ID cards as a security measure to make sure only employees have access to get into the office. Well, soon, employees at one Wisconsin-based company won't need an ID because they will have microchips."

THIS is a perfect example of "fake news" - this company is offering the microchips to speed paying for snack items, *NOT* for "access to the office."

Reporting like this is what gives reporting a bad name.
