Iran learned the allowed proximity to an American warship. That’s what they wanted to know. In WWII, the British grounded one of their own WW1 destroyers into a Nazi submarine dock. An intentionally-delayed explosion killed many of the enemy when it blew up the following day. 'Hoping we remember such tactics when the enemy should collide larger ships with ours.
