China reportedly boosts defense preparations along North Korean border

China reportedly boosts defense preparations along North Korean border

•China is said to have increased its military defenses along its border with North Korea.
•This comes as President Donald Trump considers a military response to Pyongyang's provocations.
•Both U.S. and Chinese officials continue to push for a diplomatic solution, rather than a military one.

China has ramped up its defenses along its border with North Korea to ready itself for a potential crisis on the peninsula, The Wall Street Journal reported.

The newspaper reported Beijing has increased surveillance of the border region as well as a "combat readiness-level big data disaster recovery center." The military has also conducted drills and transferred units from other regions, the Journal reported.

The Journal said that these measures parallel President Donald Trump's comments that he is considering military action to curb Pyongyang's nuclear ambitions and that Beijing should do more to handle the matter.

From Fox News:

Mark Cozad, who works at the Rand Corp think tank, told the paper these preparations “go well beyond” creating a buffer zone at the border.

“If you’re going to make me place bets on where I think the U.S. and China would first get into a conflict, it’s not Taiwan, the South China Sea or the East China Sea: I think it’s the Korean Peninsula,” he said.

Considering the Military Option....

Obviously a surprise “shock and Awe” massive quick strike would have to be employed if the USA were to preemptively solve this problem OVERTLY. For this to be effective we need very solid intelligence on NK assets, installations communications and infrastructure for target coordination. We would also need to move our own assets into place without showing our hand ahead of time.

I am not sure we have the ability.

The doo doo is hitting the fan. Chia Head press specified Anchorage last I read on a Palin fb page, I believe it was.

Americans are watching their sitcoms and not expecting a strike at all. It's not if but when...this nork madman has been working toward this person glory of striking us for a decade or more.

The last thing they want is millions of NORK refugees flooding in and taxing their already over stretched resources.

OK. Let’s say the Chinese invade and occupy the country. Win-win-win for China, US, and the ‘SORKS’. The south pays off the Chinks for running what amounts to a homeless shelter. The U.S. pulls troops out of the South like Jimmy Carter wanted prematurely. I wouldn’t be surprised if Trump made the arrangement with Xi in Florida.

"It's not if but when...this Nork madman has been working

He wants to do one better than the Arab/Muslim 9/11 attack
on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

Many in the world have such ambitions since they saw the
initial success of that Arab/Muslim operation. The Nork
Fat-Boy Leader thinks he can pull it off too and
America will do nothing about it.

Sounds like a warning to us and South Korea to me. Beyond a “your enemy is my enemy” knee jerk reaction, I can’t see supporting anyone as evil as Kim Jong Un. The Chinese have an unpredictable powder keg on their border.

China ultimately wants to pull South Korea into their orbit, by helping to take care of the “North Korea Problem”.

There is one thing that both China and South Korea are very leery of, and that’s North Korea descending into chaos, and having millions of refugees streaming over their borders, that’s a situation they are both desperate to avoid.

“I am not sure we have the ability.”

Who does?

How do you put 50% of your heavy bombers and 50% of your thousands of tactical aircraft in range, without detection?

And the 100’s of thousands ground troops and supplies too.

A military move on Norklandia would be telegraphed for weeks, if not months.

Most people don't understand that this is a personal mission for him...he just wants to destroy us, period.

He has already shown that his people mean nothing to him except as useful tools.

China should be told that any incursions into Nk after our shock and awe begins will be treated as enemy combatants. We don’t need another Chinese puppet government replacing this one. China is our enemy.

I posted a day or two ago that Thursday would be the day..and just read this today..so bunker down where ever you are....it never hurts to be prepared and be wrong.

It has been suggested that Kim Jong-un could order a new weapons test to mark the anniversary of the end of the Korean War on Thursday July 27, known as Victory Day.
