One-eighth of Donald Trump’s term of office is past. While there have been notable accomplishments, it was far less productive than either the president or his supporters wanted.
Arguably, that’s substantially because the Trump administration is largely staffed by people who do not support the president and his policies. Most worked previously for Barack Obama.
This is an obvious formula for disaster. Yet, a Trump subordinate frequently at odds with his boss, National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster, recently told his staff that there are "no [Obama] hold-overs" on the National Security Council (NSC). Any there who previously worked for Obama are now "part of the team."

Fire them today and recess appoint their replacements. It’s not like the senate will approve their replacements quickly.
I don’t trust McMaster. He comes across as disingenuous. I’m guessing he sucked his way to the top.

While I totally support Trump, a wholesale firing of odumbo holdover “traitors” is NOT a simple undertaking nor should it be done. The government still has to run and a number of those who SHOULD be fired are important enough to be held over until competent and LOYAL replacements can be made. A Trump team of “loyalists” needs to be implemented to address the need for firings and DO IT!

No hold-overs. Entire new Trump team.
Why not just get rid of the NSC? Who are these people? What purpose do they serve? What country do they serve? What is their reason to exist?
Abolish them, they are the womb that births the Shadow government.
Trump has a very short window to get control of government. He’s wasting precious time.

McMaster is part of the problem.
It is a recipe for disaster as Gafney says. IF he does not get the broom out now, it is going to be an issue that continually hampers him.
Early on i thought maybe Trump kept the holdover just to maintain a structure while he slowly replaces them.
Now i have to say i have no idea why they are still around.
Obama holdovers? I’m guessing there a lot of holdovers from Clinton that Bush/Rove refused to purge with their “new tone” lunacy.
