China would clean their clocks in conventional warfare. For all the crap the Chinese get, their system generally works. Nothing works in India.
Lucky for India China doesn’t have a working logistic system so an invasion of India is out.
There is no way for Chinese troops to invade India, separated by the highest mountain range in the world. Which rules out conventional war. India has tough soldiers in Gurkha’s, Marathi’s and Sikh’s. All totally fearless. Which means China can not win a mountain war.
So it will boil down to air war. If the defenseless Chinese manufacturing centers are destroyed, there goes the $500 Billion trade surplus with United States. The riots in China will be of historic proportions.
Keep in mind China is an export dependent system. India is not. Indians can survive a devastating war better in my opinion. Technologically India has progressed by orders of magnitude compared to the last border skirmish with China.
