One is a former judge. The other has never run for office, but helped run Trump’s successful candidacy in Michigan. Not career politicians.
Again, if Kid Rock can make his case in the primary and distance himself from those unsettling social leftist positions and a lot of the other heavily negative stuff, and prevail, he’ll prove he’s worthy of support. Let’s face it, we don’t KNOW if he can run a race yet.
The fact that Kid Rock can fill a stadium only attests to his popularity as an entertainer. If that can’t translate to VOTES, it won’t matter.
Celebrity candidates can be a crapshoot. Here in Tennessee, way back in 1948, we had one of the biggest names in country music run as the Republican nominee for Governor. He packed in the crowds (i.e. “filled the stadiums”) for his rallies, and when it came to the election, he got 1/3rd of the vote against the Democrat.
I doubt the businesswoman lady will go anywhere.
But it would be foolish to take Black Republican and Former State Supreme Court Justice (elected statewide in non-partisan elections) Bob Young lightly.
Here’s another poll, more credible and it’s good news for KR.
From the Trafalgar Group, which had Trump winning Michigan the day before the election, did accurate polling of the Louisiana races and had Handel winning in GA. Not on their website yet that I can find but widely reported.
Kid Rock 48.6%
Stabmenow 46.1%
GOP Primary
Kid Rock 49.6%
Undecided 28.1%
Lena Epstein (Pro Trump Bizness Woman)9.4%
John James (who?) 7.1%
Justice Bob Young 5.8%, I guess getting elected statewide doesn’t necessarily translate into name recognition.
Ah, here’s a link to a Google drive file of the poll

Stabme has more solid supprot but once leaners are added Kid Rock is ahead.
