Thanks Rebel.

I apologize for the mishap.

Considering the date, Hammersmith was an impressive bridge.

From where I once lived on Staten Island, I had the Verrazano to the east, the Bayonne to the north, and the (original) Goethals to the west. A single-span suspension bridge, a steel arch bridge (almost identical to its famous cousin in Sydney), and a cantilever bridge. They’ve now replace the cantilever bridge with a pair of cable-stayed bridges.

The Union of Concerned Societies is a long standing Marxist group of scientists, always touting Marxist lines on “scientific” topics. They have been on the wrong side of science and politically driven public policy throughout their history. They ONLY “concern” they’ve really ever had is their Leftist political line.

Sea level near the Maryland shore is more volatile than sea level along the rest of the east coast. Is there a Bermuda Triangle effect off Maryland that makes its Atlantic Ocean behave differently than Maine’s or Florida’s Atlantic?

“Global Warming - Climate Change” world biggest hoax and scam.
Just like Obama causing Global Flooding by pissing in the ocean.
That much can humans contribute.
Elaborate scam to screw off taxpayers off their money!

Earth climate and changes are dependent on Sun’s and Sunspots activity supplying 99.99% of energy. Humans can do schit about it.
Volcano eruptions can produce much more distractions to climate than all humans and SUVs farting together.
CO2 is not poison, it is “food” for plants, which in turn produce Oxygen, that we need to breathe.
STOP the scam, jail all the scammers!!!
God bless and protect Mr. Trump!
MAGA!!!!

From NASA itself. Re the Maunder Solar minimum:

Chilly Temperatures During the Maunder Minimum

Many things can change temperatures on Earth: a volcano erupts, swathing the Earth with bright haze that blocks sunlight, and temperatures drop; greenhouse gases trap heat in the atmosphere, and temperatures climb. From 1650 to 1710, temperatures across much of the Northern Hemisphere plunged when the Sun entered a quiet phase now called the Maunder Minimum. During this period, very few sunspots appeared on the surface of the Sun, and the overall brightness of the Sun decreased slightly. Already in the midst of a colder-than-average period called the Little Ice Age, Europe and North America went into a deep freeze: alpine glaciers extended over valley farmland; sea ice crept south from the Arctic; and the famous canals in the Netherlands froze regularly—an event that is rare today.

Twenty-two of those communities are in Maryland, most on the Eastern Shore, which is coping with sinking land and rising sea levels.

If they weren't sinking, they'd be OK.

Idiots...the only “rising sea levels” are usually referred to as “tides”.

Maryland had 31 miles of coastline. 31.

I drive more than that just to get TO work each day.

Texas has 367 miles of coastline. Louisiana has 397.

They did in the 70s when Time magazine warned of the coming Ice Age, before global warming became the money maker.

The Union of Concerned Scientists is and always has been a far-left organization, much like its’ counterpart the longtime Marxist led Federation of American Scientists (its leader, Jeremy Raskin, either just died or resigned but his father Marcus Raskin was one of the top leftist anti-defense leaders in the LBJ administration and then became a leader of the Communist Party USA - partially funded Institute for Policy Studies. They had a whole lot of Soviet “collusion” activities.

Need to see if the UCS is also that far to the left.

I know this is past exp. date to argue, but MD has a gigantic bay, and that is where the coastal waters come in. They are not just talking about the oceanside. Never mind the Potomac, a tributary of the Chesapeake.

Chesapeake Bay - Total shoreline including tributaries is 11,684 miles (18,804 km), circumnavigating a surface area of 4,479 square miles (11,601 km2). Average depth is 21 feet (6.4 m), reaching a maximum of 174 feet (53 m).

(Granted that Virginia has a big chunk of that)
