Donald J. Trump‏Verified account @realDonaldTrump

It's very sad that Republicans, even some that were carried over the line on my back, do very little to protect their President. 1:14 PM - 23 Jul 2017

Edison was a huge proponent of DC (Direct Current) power. He was heavily invested in it.
Under the Edison plan there would need to be a power plant every few blocks in NYC and electric service never would have made it to the countryside.
Just imagine NYC or LA with a DC power plant every 8-10 blocks.

Tesla gave us AC (alternating current) power that allowed for fewer power plants further apart.
He also invented the fluorescent light bulb and the electric motor to run on AC.

Tesla owned the patent on AC power and could have been the wealthiest man in the country.
When his investors wanted to renegotiate the agreement they told him only the truly wealthy could afford electricity. He basically gave his patent rights away saying “electricity belongs to the masses.”
That was when electricity became affordable for the middle class.

Edison hated Tesla and did everything he could to see that Tesla got no credit. Edison was determined the he, Thomas Edison, was seen as the great inventor.

In 1943 the Supreme Court ruled that it was Tesla, not Marconi, who is responsible for long wave radio because Marconi used 19 of Teslas patents to “invent” his radio.

“Let them have today, the future is mine.”
Tesla

The Uniparty may quarrel with Trump, the the notion that he “carried” down ballot candidates over the line is simply delusional. The data declares pretty clearly that it was the other way around, that the down ballot candidates did better than he did in the places where it really counted.

Imagine Trump in 2024. Payback to every Republican who crossed him. First in the primary. Those that survive? Do the same thing in the general, even if the seat goes Democrat. Let Pence or Cruz deal with the consequences.

You are projecting your emotions into a situation for which none of us have any useful information

My heart breaks for these parents

Accusations about the medical staff are unwarranted

They acted that way during the primaries and the campaign

Mr. Trump treated them fairly. I would not want to be on his bad side. He will exact his revenge in a very cold calculated manner. He is doing the lifting he can. For that I am thankful

“My heart breaks for these parents

I strongly suspect you replied to the wrong comment on the wrong thread. I’ve said nothing in this thread that is on the topic of parents or medical staff. Nor is this thread about any such thing.

Absolutely right. Time for the Trumpublican Party to be born. Drain the swamp!

AC electricity. Edison promoted DC.

But an EMP will knock out our grid.

I won’t bring in my online pedigree here, but you’re well suited to propose your fantasy efforts...

Did you actually just refer to your “online pedigree”???

Really?

How can anyone take you seriously?

No there isn’t, if you look at each person and what they support it’s socialism, which I suspect you support too.

You’re welcome.
Tesla was forgotten by history because Edison had all the right connections.
People are starting to rediscover him and he is finally getting the fame he deserves.
One problem is the US gov’t scooped up all his notes and papers when he died and classified everything so other inventors couldn’t carry on his work.
Makes one wonder what he was on to.
