I worked in HR and we did annual “anonymous” employee surveys. Most employees fell for it and believed their comments couldn’t be tracked back to them. If I was asked about it, I’d point out the bar code which I knew was unique and connected to that employee. I didn’t say a word — just pointed to the bar code.

HR would be the department to implement the microchip project. Never ever trust that Human Resources is working in the employees’ best interests.

Yep.

I can only conclude that the gentle trusting souls on this thread never had to deal with HR.

Worked for a company once that had as a "perk" a discount card that allowed you to get points that could be used for other things. It was nice until you realize that every time you used it the company would be informed of when, where and for what you used it.
