Before Obamacare, they probably were getting health care insurance for as low as $12 a month.

Trump merely was engaging in hyperbole.

And they were paying it in all 57 states.

Some people are allowed to misspeak and others aren’t.

I wondered if he meant life insurance, since he made a comment about being 70.

The cheapest at $12 a month for catastrophic insurance.

If it was only a premium for health "insurance", it probably could be done for a very low premium per month. Changes that would need to be made though are:

1. Tort reform. Docs/hospitals are not in a habit of purposeful "mistakes" but they are deep pockets to many patients and lawyers.

2. Payment for doctor visits paid by patient.

3. Prescriptions paid for by patient.

4. Get rid of the mandates that cover everything for everyone that should not be part of health insurance.

It sounds to me like he is talking about a whole life insurance plan, and misspoke and said health insurance.

Yes, that is what it sounds like to me, and whole life insurance at that.

The norm now is for 21-year-olds to pay zero, because Obama has required them to covered under their parents’ plans until age 26.

And delaying adult decisions had nothing to do with it.

Has to be life insurance. I have never heard about $15 health insurance except maybe when I was in school as part of student health care..and that was decades and decades ago

My guess he is confusing life insurance with health insurance. When your 70 you don’t need health insurance because you’ve been on Medicare for 5 years(yes I know about supplements). Sometimes Trump is his own worst enemy. He really doesn’t need to comment on everything and he shouldn’t say anything if he doesn’t have the facts. Why give the opposition ammo?

I think he just has health insurance on the brain on that came out rather than life insurance.

I looked on Twitter to see what people are saying. Gerber has a commercial on fox about $1 a week insurance..but that still doesnt explain the number.

In any case..has to be life insurance

Get $250,000 of Term Life Insurance Coverage for as low as $14 per month!

Note: I didn't fill out the request to get the quote, but yes, it has to be whole life insurance, because I know it doesn't apply to an old fart such as myself..

I bought a no health check life insurance policy on someone else as an investment. Pretty expensive due to age. Has to live two years to payoff otherwise just get my money back plus 10%...but 10% is a good return

A minor mistake compared with the media’s constant reference to health insurance as “health care.”

If someone were to lose their government subsidized insurance (up to 100% in many cases) it certainly does not mean they will lose their “health care.” They just may have to pay for it, (or gee, maybe they will take better care of themselves or get a job with better benefits).

Remember truly indigent people are covered by Medicaid.
